4-Day Pamukkale, Ephesus & Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul (Domestic Flights Included)

You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul at approximately 4:00 am and transferred to the domestic airport for your flight from Istanbul to Denizli, scheduled between 6:00 – 8:00 am. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to باموكالي to meet your professional guide for a full-day tour.

Around 10:45 am, visit Karahayit to see the Red Spring Waters. Continue to Hierapolis at 11:30 am, exploring highlights like the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Frontinus Street, and Theater. At 12:30 pm, enjoy some free time to explore Pamukkale’s natural beauty, including the Cotton Cliffs, with an option to swim in the Pamukkale Antique Pools (at your own expense).

At 1:30 pm, walk through the famous Pamukkale Travertines. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Later, around 3:30 pm, visit an Onyx Factory.

At the end of the tour, around 4:00 pm, you will begin the drive to Kusadasi, which takes approximately 3.5 hours. You can expect to check in to your hotel in Kusadasi around 7:30 pm. Overnight in Kusadasi.

After breakfast at the hotel, around 8:30 am, you will be picked up by your tour guide to begin the full-day tour of أفسس. The first stop is the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Next, explore the world-famous ancient Greco-Roman City of Ephesus, the most well-preserved example in the world. During your visit, you will see remarkable sites such as the Temple of Hadrian, the stunning Library of Celsus, and the majestic Great Theater, which once held thousands of spectators and offers insights into ancient Roman architecture and culture.

After exploring these impressive sites, enjoy a lunch break. Post-lunch, the tour continues with a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, a holy place for both Christians and Muslims, believed to be where the Virgin Mary spent her final years.

The next stop is the Isabey Mosque, an exquisite example of Seljuk architecture, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.

At the end of the tour, around 4:00 pm, you will be transferred to Izmir airport for your late evening flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir via Istanbul. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you holding a sign with your name and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

For an optional extra, book an early morning hot air balloon ride to experience breathtaking aerial views of the valleys. Please note that this activity comes at an additional cost.

After breakfast, around 9:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel for a full-day tour of North Cappadocia. The tour begins with a visit to وادي ديفيرنت to see the unique fairy chimneys. Next, explore Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley), known for its mushroom-shaped pinnacles.

Following this, head to the city of أفانوس, famous for its pottery-making tradition along the banks of the Kizilirmak River. After lunch, visit the Zelve Open Air Museum, which features carved caves and ancient churches, offering insight into the region’s monastic history.

Towards the end of the tour, take approximately 15 minutes for panoramic photos of the natural castles of Uchisar.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel around 4:00 pm. The rest of the day is free to relax, explore the city on your own, or participate in optional activities. Overnight in Cappadocia.

After breakfast at the hotel, around 9:30 am, you will be picked up by your tour guide to begin the full-day tour of South Cappadocia. The day starts with a visit to Red Valley, where you can explore the famous rock-cut churches and enjoy a 5 km hike through Rose Valley (Güllüdere Vadisi).

Next, head to Cavusin Village, known for its historic houses and churches of Christian clergymen. After a break for lunch, continue to Pigeon Valley (Güvercinlik Vadisi), famous for its scenic landscapes and ancient pigeon houses carved into the cliffs.

In the afternoon, visit the Kaymakli أو مدينة أوزكوناك تحت الأرض, where early Christians once lived to escape persecution. This marks the end of the full-day tour.

Around 4:00 pm, you will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your late evening return flight to Istanbul, scheduled between 7:00 – 10:00 pm (flight duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes).
