7-Day Egypt Tour: Cairo, Nile Cruise from Aswan, Abu Simbel to Luxor

A weeklong tour of Egypt is the perfect way to experience this ancient country. Start in Cairo, where you’ll explore the ancient pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx. Then take a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, stopping at important archaeological sites like Abu Simbel along the way. You’ll also have time to enjoy the vibrant Egyptian culture, with its distinctive food, music, and art.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo, Egypt.

Upon your arrival in Cairo, you will meet with our company representative in the arrivals area of the Cairo International Airport, who will be holding a signboard with your name on it. After meet and greet, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Cairo. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 2: Private Tour to Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Coptic and Islamic Cairo and Khan El Khalili

After breakfast, at around 8:00 am, you will be accompanied by your professional guide to the Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. Next, you will head out to the Egyptian Museum, where the treasures of the boy king, Tutankhamen, await you. You will then go to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue, followed by a short drive to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili which is Cairo’s oldest and most alluring bazaar. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan from Cairo — Nile Cruise Starts

After check-out from your Cairo hotel, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan airport, you will be met and transferred to embark on your cruise ship. Have the full-day Aswan tour. You will then return to the cruise.

Day 4: Nile Cruise ⏤ Abu Simbel

In the early morning, our guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip, Arrive around 9 am, to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique design built for King Ramesses the 2nd. and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Back to the cruise by noon to have your lunch and sailing heading to Kom Ombo city. Navigation to Edfu Overnight in Edfu.

Day 5: Nile Cruise ⏤ Edfu ⏤ East Luxor

Visit Edfu Temple, the most well-preserved temple in Egypt dedicated to the Falcon God Horus. Navigation to Luxor via Esna PM: Visit the fabulous Luxor Temple and the enormous temple complex of Karnak. Among its splendors is the Hypostyle Hall, the largest of any temple in the world covering an area of 5356 sq. meters with its roof blocks supported by 134 colossal columns 70 feet high.

Day 6: West Luxor Tour ⏤ Fly back to Cairo

After embarkation, have breakfast, visit the Ancient Theban Necropolis in the west bank of Luxor to see the Valley of Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the funerary Temple of Amenophis III, and have your lunch. After that, transfer to Luxor airport to fly to Cairo, where a representative will meet you at Cairo airport and drive you to your hotel to stay for one night.

Day 7: Departure from Cairo — End of Tour Service
