Verified PurchaseBy Sophie R.(Australia)2月 19, 2026 Walking Through My Great-Grandfather's FootstepsThis tour completely exceeded every expectation! As an Aussie whose great-grandfather fought at Gallipoli, standing at Anzac Cove was overwhelming. Our guide Mehmet was incredible - he knew exactly where the 4th Battalion had landed and helped me find the area where my ancestor's unit first came ashore. The dawn service site gave me goosebumps. Day two at Troy was equally amazing - who knew the wooden horse replica would be so massive? I actually climbed inside and felt like a kid again! The archaeological layers showing 9 different cities blew my mind. Mehmet's storytelling brought everything to life, especially when he explained how Heinrich Schliemann discovered the site. The overnight accommodation was comfortable, and the included meals were delicious (try the gözleme!). One Nation Travel organized everything seamlessly - pickup from Istanbul was smooth, and our small group of 12 meant we could ask lots of questions. The only tiny issue was the early morning start, but honestly, watching sunrise over the Dardanelles made it worthwhile. This tour connected me to both family history and ancient mythology in ways I never imagined possible. Absolutely life-changing!Date of Experience: 2月 15, 2026

Verified PurchaseBy Olivia B.(Australia)6月 8, 2025 A Meaningful and Well-Organized TripAs an Australian, visiting Gallipoli has always been on my list. This 2-day tour was exactly what I was hoping for — respectful, informative, and well paced. Our guide explained the history clearly, and visiting the cemeteries and ANZAC Cove was very emotional for me. The second day in Troy added something completely different — ancient ruins, legends, and great photo spots.Transport, accommodation, and meals were all well handled. I’m glad I booked through One Nation Travel — they made everything easy and smooth.Date of Experience: 5月 05, 2025
