Detailed Itinerary
Your exclusive journey begins with a private transfer from your hotel in Istanbul to the airport around 4:00 am for your flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your private guide and driver who will be at your service throughout the day. Your first stop is the surreal デヴレントバレー, often called Imagination Valley, where your guide will show you the whimsical rock formations that resemble animals. You will then proceed to Pasabag Valley, home to the region’s most striking fairy chimneys. Since this is a private tour, you can explore these sites at your own pace without the rush of a large group.
Next, you will drive to アヴァノス, famous for its pottery traditions dating back to the Hittites. After enjoying a lunch of local specialties, you will visit the highlight of the day: the Goreme Open Air Museum. After breakfast, at 9:30 am, your private guide will meet you to begin the day’s exploration at レッドバレー. You will enjoy a private, tranquil hike through the adjacent Rose Valley, discovering hidden cave chapels and lush vineyards away from the crowds. Your walk leads you to Cavusin Village, where you can explore the ruins of an old Greek village and its rock-cut dwellings.
After a delicious lunch, you will visit Pigeon Valley to see the historic pigeon houses carved into the cliffs. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring one of the region’s fascinating underground cities, either Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City. After breakfast and check-out, your private driver and guide will pick you up at 9:30 am for a journey to the remarkable デリンクユ地下都市, the deepest underground settlement in Cappadocia. Your guide will take you through the intricate levels of this ancient city, explaining its ventilation and defense systems in detail. Following this, you will head to the stunning Ihlara Valley, a lush canyon created by the Melendiz River. You will enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, visiting rock-hewn churches that differ architecturally from those in Goreme.
Lunch will be served at a river-side restaurant in the valley, offering a serene atmosphere. Your final stop is the majestic Selime Monastery, a massive rock-cut complex that served as a religious center.
