6-Day Highlights of Jordan– Petra, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Tour

Upon your arrival at Amman International Airport, our representative will be waiting for you in the arrivals area, holding a sign with your name. After a warm welcome, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or begin exploring the city at your leisure. Overnight in Amman.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and drive approximately 1 hour to 제라쉬, once a member of the Decapolis. Its golden age came under Roman rule, and today it is considered one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the Middle East. A local guide will lead you through its remarkable ruins, including the 법정, the impressive Roman colonnaded street, 그 님파이움, theatres, 그리고 웅장한 아르테미스 신전.

After the tour in Jerash, you will return to Amman to explore its historical heart. Begin with a visit to the Citadel, offering panoramic views of the capital. On the site, discover remnants from Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic periods, such as the Temple of Hercules, 그 Umayyad Palace, 그리고 Archaeological Museum.

Next, head to the impressive Roman Theatre, which once hosted up to 6,000 spectators. Conclude the day with a stroll through the vibrant Souqs (markets) in downtown Amman, and a visit to 레인보우 스트리트 in the charming Jabal Amman neighborhood, known for its cafes, art galleries, and lively atmosphere.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax at your hotel or explore more of the city at your own pace.

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and drive to Mt. Nebo, believed to be the burial site of Prophet Moses. If weather conditions are favorable, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Promised Land, just as Moses is believed to have seen. At the remains of the Moses Memorial Church, dating back to the 4th century, you will admire beautiful ancient mosaics.

A short drive takes you to the town of 마다바, famous for its rich Byzantine 그리고 Umayyad mosaic art. The highlight here is the 6th-century Map of Palestine inside the Greek Orthodox St. George’s Church. If open, you may also visit St. John the Baptist Church and climb its bell tower for scenic views over the town.

You then drive along the historic King’s Way, the ancient biblical trade route, with a brief stop at Wadi Al-Mujib, a dramatic canyon known for its stunning geological formations.

계속하세요 Kerak to explore the formidable 케라크 성, a Crusader fortress built in 1132–34 by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem. Walk through its underground galleries, towers, and chambers that reflect the military ingenuity of the medieval period.

After the visit, drive approximately 2 hours to Petra. Check-in at your hotel and overnight in Petra.

After breakfast, begin your visit to Jordan’s most famous archaeological site — the legendary red rose city of Petra. For early risers, you may start as early as 06:00 AM. If so, don’t forget to ask your hotel for a breakfast box the night before.

Meet your local guide at the entrance and walk through the stunning 시크, a narrow gorge carved between towering sandstone cliffs. At the end of the Siq, you’ll witness the breathtaking 재무부(알카즈네), Petra’s most iconic monument.

Continue on a 2-hour guided tour covering the major highlights of Petra including the 파사드 거리, 왕릉, 그리고 Pharaoh’s Castle. Your guide will share the history, legends, and architectural wonders of the ancient Nabatean capital.

The guided portion ends at the restaurant area inside the site. From there, you have free time to explore Petra on your own. Adventurous visitors can ascend approximately 800 rock-cut steps to reach the monumental Monastery (El Deir), offering a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.

Return at your own pace through the Siq to the main gate. Overnight stay in Petra.

After breakfast, depart Petra and drive approximately 1.5 hours south to the stunning desert of 와디 룸, often referred to as the “Valley of the Moon.” This unique landscape, made famous by Lawrence of Arabia, is considered one of the most breathtaking deserts in the world.

Upon arrival, hop aboard a 4×4 jeep for a 2.5-hour ride through the dramatic terrain of 와디 룸. Explore its towering sandstone mountains, majestic 협곡, rolling sand dunes, and see ancient Nabatean rock inscriptions along the way.

After the desert exploration, continue your journey with a scenic 4-hour drive to the 사해, the lowest point on Earth. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to float in the salty waters, apply the therapeutic mineral-rich mud, or simply relax and take in the unique landscape and air. Overnight stay at the Dead Sea.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel at the 사해 by 12:00 PM. At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to 퀸 알리아 국제공항 in Amman for your departure flight. This marks the end of your tour services.
