According to Egyptian mythology, it was here that Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating Seth.

Next, drive to Kom Ombo city to explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, perched on high grounds overlooking the Nile. This temple is unique due to its double entrance, with each dedicated to a different divinity: Haroeris, with his falcon head, and Sobek, with his crocodile head. The Temple of Kom Ombo was built in honor of Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris, the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Kom Ombo is also renowned for its extensive sugar-cane production.

Upon arriving in Aswan, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before discovering the city’s highlights. Visit the High Dam, constructed by Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to protect Egypt from Nile floods.

Afterwards, embark on a motorboat ride along the Nile River to reach Agilika Island, where you will explore the Temple of Philae. Built during the Greco-Roman period, this temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of the god Horus.

Located 290 km from Aswan in Egypt, Abu Simbel is undoubtedly the most spectacular temple in the country. The complex consists of two magnificent temples, both of which have an extraordinary history. The larger temple boasts four enormous statues at its entrance, honoring Ramses II, while the second temple is dedicated to the goddess Hathor, the wife of Ramses II.

These temples gained international fame when they were saved from the rising waters of Lake Nasser by UNESCO in the 1960s. The temples were carefully dismantled, piece by piece, and relocated to higher ground, preserving these ancient marvels for future generations. Originally, the temples were situated on the sacred hills of Meha and Ibshek.

After exploring the wonders of Abu Simbel, you will be transferred back to Aswan Airport in the private air-conditioned van for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel in Cairo, where you can unwind and reflect on your unforgettable experience.
