7-Day Egypt Tour: Cairo, Aswan, Luxor & Nile Cruise

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo, Airport Transfer and Free Day

Arrive any day in Cairo. Upon your arrival in Cairo, you will be met with our company representative in the arrival area of the airport who will be holding a signboard with your name on it. You will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Cairo after you meet and greet. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Memphis and Sakkara Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel around 8:00 am to begin a full-day private tour of some of Egypt’s most iconic historical sites.

Your first stop is the Giza Pyramids, where you’ll witness the grandeur of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. These majestic structures, the only remaining ancient wonders of the world, are filled with centuries of history and architectural marvels. You’ll have ample time to walk around the site, visit the Great Sphinx, and learn about the fascinating techniques and legends that surround these timeless monuments.

Following your time at Giza, the tour takes you to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt and once a thriving center of culture and trade. In Memphis, you will have the chance to see the Colossal Statue of Ramses II, an impressive relic that displays the craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian artisans, and the Alabaster Sphinx, a beautifully carved monument made from a single block of alabaster.

Your final destination is Sakkara, the vast necropolis of the ancient city of Memphis. This site is home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt, which marked a turning point in pyramid construction. Designed by the architect Imhotep, this pyramid paved the way for the later grand structures at Giza, and offers unique insights into the beginnings of Egyptian monumental architecture.

After your tour, you’ll be driven back to your hotel around 5:00 pm, where you can unwind and enjoy free time for the remainder of the day.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum, Mohamed Ali Mosque & Khan El-Khalili Bazaar Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel around 8:00 AM to begin a full-day private tour of Cairo’s most iconic cultural and historical sites.

Your first stop is the Egyptian Museum, which houses an impressive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Here, you’ll have the chance to see treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb and an array of other artifacts, providing an immersive experience into Egypt’s ancient history and artistic achievements.

Next, you’ll head to the Salah El Din Citadel. This historic fortress, perched on a hill, was built by the famed leader Salah El Din in the 12th century to protect Cairo from Crusader invasions. The Citadel also offers stunning panoramic views of Cairo. While here, you’ll visit the elegant Mohamed Ali Mosque, often referred to as the Alabaster Mosque. Known for its impressive domes and Ottoman-style architecture, this mosque is one of Cairo’s most beautiful landmarks and an enduring symbol of the city.

The final stop on your tour is the bustling Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s famous marketplace dating back to the 14th century. Walking through the narrow, lively alleys, you’ll find stalls filled with traditional crafts, jewelry, spices, and souvenirs. If you wish, you’ll have the opportunity to shop, interact with local artisans, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this historic bazaar.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel around 5:00 PM. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor from Cairo – Luxor East Bank Tour

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Cairo and transfer to Cairo Airport for an early flight to Luxor (Approximate Flight Time: 06:00 – 07:00). Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and assist with your transfer, where you’ll begin your day’s tour with your guide.

Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, the ancient royal cemetery with tombs of 62 pharaohs, adorned with intricate wall paintings symbolizing the journey to the afterlife. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece carved into limestone cliffs by New Kingdom craftsmen in the 15th century BC.

Continue to the iconic Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have stood as silent sentinels for thousands of years.

After the tour, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Luxor for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Luxor West Bank Tour – Fly back to Cairo

After breakfast, check out from your hotel at around 8:00 am. You’ll be picked up to visit the majestic Karnak Temples, an awe-inspiring complex dedicated to Amun-Ra, with massive pylons, obelisks, and statues that showcase the grandeur of ancient Egypt. Next, visit the famous Luxor Temple, known for its colossal columns and stunning reliefs.

After exploring these iconic sites, you’ll be transferred to Luxor Airport for an evening flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and assist with your transfer to your Cairo hotel.

Day 6: Free day in Cairo to explore

Today, you’ll have a free day in Cairo to explore as you wish. Alternatively, you can join an optional day trip (at additional cost) to Alexandria to discover its famous Greco-Roman sites. This tour returns to Cairo by evening.

Day 7: Departure from Cairo – End of Tour Service

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Cairo (hotel check-out is before 12:00 noon) and will then be transferred to the Cairo International Airport according to your flight details or to join the tour in Jordan. This will be the end of our tour and services.
