6 Days Istanbul and Antalya Tour Package

(Tour will start in Istanbul and will end in Antalya)


Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

Arrive at any time. Upon your arrival in Istanbul, you will be met with our company representative in the arrivals area of the airport who will be holding a signboard with your name on it. After meet and greet, you will then be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Istanbul. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure on your own.

Day 2: Istanbul Byzantine and Ottoman Relics Tour

After breakfast at approximately 8:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel to begin the full-day tour. Today on the tour you will visit Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, and Topkapi Palace. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. (Note that Topkapı Palace is closed Tuesday, and Hagia Sophia is closed Monday).

Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise

After breakfast at approximately 8:30 am you will be picked up from your hotel to visit the Spice Bazaar (or Egyptian Bazaar). Filled with spices, dried fruits, nuts and seeds, lokum (Turkish delight) and other edibles, Spice Bazaar has a smell of the fragrance of the exotic East. Then join a boat excursion on the Bosphorus on a shared tour. Enjoy viewing Ottoman palaces, Bosphorus bridge, citadels, centuries-old mansions and the European and Asian shorelines at the same time. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel at around 12:45 pm.

Day 4: Fly to Antalya from Istanbul

After breakfast check out of the hotel in Istanbul. You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Istanbul airport to take your flight to Antalya. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Antalya. Check into your hotel in Antalya and rest of the day is free.

Day 5: Perge, Aspendos & Kursunlu Waterfalls Tour

Depart in the morning to visit Perge. Perge an important city of ancient Pamphylia. St. Paul visited Perge on his first missionary journey. The theatre stage has finely carved marble reliefs & other carvings from around the city are displayed in the stadium. Then proceed to Aspendos "Aspendus" which bears one of the best-preserved Roman theatres in Asia Minor. After lunch by the river, we visit Manavgat Waterfalls before continuing to Side.

Side is one of the best-known classical sites in Turkey. It was an ancient harbor; today Side is a pretty resort town with its ancient ruins, two sandy beaches & numerous tiny souvenir shops. The magnificent theatre of the ancient city, built on colonnaded arches, is the largest in the whole area. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back to your hotel at approximately 5:45 pm.

Day 6: Free Day in Antalya

Today is at leisure and overnight in Antalya.

Day 7: Departure from Antalya -  End of Tour Service

After breakfast check out from your hotel in Antalya (before 11:00 am), then transfer to Antalya airport accordingly to your flight details. End of tour and services.

IMPORTANT INFO:

  • The order of the itinerary is indicative and subject to change, but all visits described will take place.
  • This is a regular group tour, but if requested at cost can be provided as a private tour
  • The regular group tour has shopping stops included in the tour
  • St. Sophia is closed on Monday, this will be replaced with the Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan Sarnici)
  • Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday, it will be replaced with the Beylerbeyi Palace
  • Grand Bazaar is closed on Sunday
  • During religious holidays, the spice market and Grand Bazaar are closed

WHEN TO BOOK?

  • Book as soon as possible to guarantee availability, especially during public holidays and festivities
  • You can book up to 2 days before (Istanbul local time) if there are still places available. If less than 2 days before start of your requested tour date, please contact us by email or phone as it would be a last-minute booking that will need to be checked for availability before your tour reservation is confirmed.

You will stay in 4-Star and Boutique hotels throughout your tour. You will stay for three nights at the Victory Hotel & Spa or Muyan Suites, or similar, in Istanbul, three nights at the Alp Pasa Boutique Hotel or Aspen Hotel, or similar in Antalya.
