Day 1: Gallipoli Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul between 6:30 – 7:00 am to commence the full-day tour of the historic Gallipoli Peninsula. The itinerary includes visits to the Memorials of Dardanelles, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, and the ANZAC Commemorative Site. Additional stops at the Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnstons Jolly, Turkish 57th Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial will enrich your understanding of this significant site. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, you will take a ferry to Canakkale, concluding the day with an overnight stay.

Day 2: Troy and Pergamon Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up for a full-day tour that begins with the ancient city of Troy. Discover the historical layers, the iconic Trojan Horse, and the ruins of the Apollo Temple and Roman Theater. The journey continues to Pergamum, known for its ancient Library and the remarkable Zeus Altar. Enjoy a local lunch before the day concludes with a trip to Kusadasi/Selcuk, where you will be dropped off at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ephesus Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up to join the full-day tour of Ephesus. The tour highlights important sites including the Temple of Artemis, Hadrian Temple, Celsus Library, Grand Theater, Ancient Hamams, and Old Harbor. Following a lunch break at a local restaurant, the tour’s final stop is at the House of Virgin Mary, a location of significant spiritual importance. After the tour concludes, you will be dropped off back at your hotel in Kusadasi around 4:00 pm, with the rest of your day free to relax or explore as you wish.

Day 4: Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour – Bus to Antalya

After breakfast around 7:30 am, you’ll be picked up from your Kusadasi hotel and taken to the meeting point in Selcuk to meet the rest of the group. Your journey to Pamukkale starts at 8:30 am and will take about 3 hours. Halfway through, there will be a short 10-minute stop for a restroom break. Once you arrive in Pamukkale around 11:45 am, the group will have lunch before beginning the guided tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis at 1:00 pm. With a professional, licensed tour guide, you’ll explore the stunning Cotton Cliffs, formed by calcareous salt deposits, and the ancient ruins of Hierapolis, including its Basilica, Theatre, and Roman Baths. After the guided tour, you’ll have some free time to explore on your own or possibly swim in the Pamukkale antique pools (at your own expense). The tour guide will let you know where and when to meet back up.

At around 4:00 pm, the tour ends, and you’ll be taken to the Pamukkale main bus station to catch a coach to Antalya, which takes about 5 hours. When you arrive in Antalya, someone will meet you and take you to your hotel for the night.

Day 5: Perge, Aspendos, Side, and Waterfall Tour

After having breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be picked up at 8:00 am for a full day of touring. First up is Perge, an ancient city first settled by the Hittites around 1500 BC and later becoming a major city in the Pamphylia region. Next, you’ll visit the Aspendos Ancient Theatre, famous for its incredible preservation and ongoing use for performances.

After enjoying lunch by a scenic river, you’ll head to Side. This ancient port city is known for its significant Roman buildings like the large theatre and the Temple of Apollo and was once home to the region’s largest slave market. You’ll have an hour to enjoy the sea and the city’s historic charm.

On the way back to Antalya, you’ll stop at the Manavgat Waterfall, then return to your hotel in Antalya.

Day 6: Fly to Kayseri/Nevsehir from Antalya

After breakfast check out of the hotel in Antalya. You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Antalya airport to take your flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia. Check into your hotel in Cappadocia and the rest of the day is free.

Day 7: North Cappadocia Tour

For an optional extra, book an early morning hot air balloon ride and experience breathtaking aerial views of the valleys. Please note that this activity comes at an additional cost.

After breakfast around 9:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel to join the full-day tour of North Cappadocia. Your tour will start with a visit to the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy chimneys. Next, you will visit the Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley) to see the mushroom-shaped pinnacles. After this visit, you will drive to the city of Avanos. After lunch, you will visit the Zelve Open Air Museum in Cappadocia. The museum features a series of carved caves and ancient churches, providing a glimpse into the region’s monastic history. Finally, towards the end of the day tour before returning to your hotel, you will have around 15 minutes to take panoramic pictures of the natural castles of Uchisar. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel around 4:00 pm.

Day 8: South Cappadocia Tour – Fly back to Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel around 9:30 am you will be picked up and met by your tour guide to begin your full-day tour of South Cappadocia. Your tour guide will brief you on the day’s activities. Your tour will begin with a visit to the Red Valley where you will be able to explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike approximately 5 km through the Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi). Next, you will visit Cavusin Village which is famous for its houses and churches of Christian Clergymen. We will take a break for lunch around noon. After lunch, you will drive to the Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi). In the afternoon you will visit the Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City where early Christians lived. This will be the end of your full-day tour.

At the end of the tour around 3:30 pm, we’ll arrange for your transfer to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport for your evening flight back to Istanbul. Upon your arrival in Istanbul, we’ll greet you at the airport and provide a transfer to your hotel. END OF OUR SERVICES AND TOURS.
