Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech, Airport Transfer and Free Day
Arrive at any time. Upon your arrival at Marrakech or Casablanca Airport, our team will be waiting for you at the exit of the international line of the Airport, holding a sign with your name written on it. After which, you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free for you to spend at leisure.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a journey to Zagora. This excursion will lead us across the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, navigating through the Tizi n’ Tichka pass. The picturesque landscape will unfold around us, and we’ll take breaks to explore various Berber villages. These stops present a wonderful opportunity to delve into the rich Berber culture and understand the historic local lifestyle. A brief stopover is also planned at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exuding immense cultural importance.
The journey will then proceed towards Zagora. Here, a unique camel trek is organized for your enjoyment. The guided trek will lead us to our desert camp in Zagora, a route offering views of the seemingly endless sand dunes and the mesmerizing desert sunset. The day will conclude with a taste of traditional Berber music, followed by an overnight stay amidst the tranquility of the desert at the Zagora camp.

Day 3: Zagora – Merzouga
We will embark on our journey to Erg Chebbi, Merzouga’s renowned sand dunes, early in the morning. Our path will take us through the Draa Valley, marked by its characteristic palm trees at the valley floor, contrasted by the barren brown or red lands encompassing it. As we traverse Alnif, we’ll pause briefly in the city of Rissani, a treasure trove of historical remnants. The famed Sijilmassa, a vibrant Berber city, and medieval trading hub at the edge of the Sahara Desert, is among these historical sites. Given sufficient time, it is recommended to visit the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum for its stunning interior design.
Continuing our journey, we’ll drive through Erg Chebbi towards the Merzouga sand dunes. Here, a camel ride has been arranged for you to further explore the Sahara Desert on this Marrakech tour. En route, savor the breathtaking desert sunset. At the day’s end, we will find ourselves in the heart of the Sahara desert, settling in for the night in a traditional Berber tent.

Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinghir
Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise over the Sahara Desert, a highlight of your Marrakech-based Sahara Desert tours in Morocco. Once we’ve had breakfast, we’ll head out for Erfoud. On the way, we’ll travel through the verdant Tafilat oasis and stop in Tinjdad. Our next stop is the Todra Gorges, one of the most dramatically narrow and steep valleys in Morocco, known for its unique brownish-red cliffs that regularly attract rock climbers. In the afternoon, we’ll take you to the city of Tinghir. Here, we recommend walking through the Jewish Kasbahs, where you can observe the daily life of the locals and learn about the area’s historic Jewish culture.

Day 5: Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, continue your desert exploration in Marrakech. Our itinerary today charts the “road of a thousand Kasbahs” stretching from Ouarzazate deep into the Sahara Desert. Our initial stop will be the Dades Valley, offering breathtaking views of towering cliffs, and providing an opportunity to explore traditional Berber Kasbahs scattered along the path.
Subsequently, we’ll venture into the aromatic city of Kelaa Mgouna, famed for its rose-tinted rocks and an array of rose by-products, ranging from edibles to skincare items. On the way to Ouarzazate, we’ll drop by a Skoura palm grove. Finally, we’ll revisit Ait Ben Haddou, settling in for the night at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. As we’ll be staying there for an extended period, you’ll have ample time to leisurely take in the unique clay architecture of the area.

Day 6: Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech
After breakfast, your journey to Marrakech will commence. Your route will take you through the stunning Ounila Valley, offering an opportunity to soak in the breathtaking scenery along the way. The journey will pause at the city of Telouet, where you’ll have a chance to explore the notable Kasbahs that form part of the famed Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Following this, you will press on to Marrakech and settle into your hotel.

Day 7: Marrakech
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing journey around Marrakech, the illustrious red and imperial city. The tour commences at the Bahia Palace, an architectural gem of the late 19th century. Its walls are beautifully decorated with Islamic floral carvings and a mosaic of ceramic tiles, reflecting a sense of exquisite elegance.
Following this, we explore the lavish interiors of the Saadian Tombs, a poignant reminder of the royal family’s opulent past. We then proceed to admire Marrakech’s landmark, the Koutoubia Mosque, from the outside as its access is limited to Muslims.
The tour concludes at the ever-bustling Djemaa-el-Fna, also known as the sleepless market. This vibrant marketplace is a treasure trove of authentic local snacks, intricate handicrafts, fresh fruits and vegetables, and mesmerizing snake-dance performances.
