4-Day Nile Cruise from Cairo by Air: Aswan to Luxor

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo and transferred to the airport for an early morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, a One Nation Travel representative will meet you at the airport (or train station/hotel) and escort you to your 5-star Nile cruise ship for embarkation before noon. After lunch on board, your sightseeing begins with a visit to The High Dam, a remarkable modern engineering feat that tamed the mighty Nile, followed by the enchanting Philae Temple, a sacred island sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Isis. You’ll return to the cruise in the evening for dinner and your first night on board.

Enjoy a relaxing morning as the cruise sets sail toward Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. After the visit, continue sailing to Edfu. The rest of the day is at leisure on board.

After breakfast, visit the magnificent Templo de Hórus em Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god. Then return to the ship as it sails toward Luxor via the Eclusa Esna. In the afternoon, arrive in Luxor and explore the East Bank, starting with the awe-inspiring Complexo do Templo de Karnak, whose Salão Hipostilo features 134 massive columns. Then proceed to Templo de Luxor, a striking monument to ancient power and elegance built over centuries by several pharaohs. After your tour, return to the cruise for dinner and a final night on board.

After breakfast, disembark and begin your tour of Luxor’s West Bank, the ancient Necrópole Tebana. Visit the legendary Vale dos Reis, the royal burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs. Continue to the impressive Templo da Rainha Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece carved into the cliffs, and conclude with a stop at the monumental Colossos de Mêmnon, two towering statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
