Hanging Church

The Hanging Church is one of the most famous Coptic Orthodox churches in Cairo, Egypt. The church is named after its location on a cliff overlooking the Nile River. It is believed to have been built in the 4th century AD, making it one of the oldest churches in Egypt. The Hanging Church has a unique architecture, with two levels of balconies and an upper level that appears to be suspended from the ceiling.
