    Priene, Miletus & Didyma Tour

You will be picked up in the morning between 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. from your hotel or cruise port in Izmir or Kusadasi, or from Izmir Airport, for a full-day Priene, Miletus, and Didyma tour. After pickup, your journey will take you to the following fascinating sites:

Priene – Set dramatically at the foot of a sheer mountain wall, Priene overlooks the scenic Meander River. This 2,500-year-old Ionian city was one of the first in history to be designed with a grid street system.

Miletos – Located near the Aegean Sea, these ancient ruins boast a grand theater built around the 4th century B.C., capable of seating over 15,000 spectators. You will also visit the Bath of Faustina, named after the wife of Emperor Marcus Aurelius. Following your exploration, enjoy lunch at a traditional Turkish restaurant before heading to:

Didyma – Once connected to Miletos by a sacred road, Didyma is home to the magnificent Temple of Apollo, one of the largest temples of the Hellenistic period. Despite centuries of construction, the temple was never completed, yet its remains still inspire awe today.

At the end of the tour, at approximately 4:00 p.m., you will be transferred back to your hotel or cruise port in Izmir or Kusadasi, or to Izmir Airport.
