Explore North Cappadocia – Valleys & Fairy Chimneys
For an unforgettable start to your day, you may opt for an early morning Hot Air Balloon Ride, offering breathtaking aerial views of Cappadocia’s surreal valleys (available at an additional cost).
Around 09:30 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel to begin the full-day North Cappadocia Tour.
The tour begins at Devrent Valley, known for its otherworldly rock formations and animal-shaped fairy chimneys. You’ll then visit Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley), famous for its towering mushroom-shaped pinnacles.
Next, you’ll head to Avanos, a charming town by the Kızılırmak River renowned for its traditional pottery and ceramics. Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, the tour continues with a visit to the Zelve Open Air Museum, a fascinating site with ancient cave dwellings, chapels, and monastic ruins that offer a glimpse into early Christian life.
Before returning to your hotel, enjoy a photo stop near Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia, where you can capture panoramic views of the surrounding landscape (castle interior is not accessible).
After the tour, at around 4:00 PM, you will be transferred back to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore Cappadocia at your own pace. Overnight in Cappadocia.
For extra activities, you can choose one from the following options: a traditional Turkish Night Show with Dinner, a 2-hour ATV tour, a 2-hour horseback riding tour through the valleys, or a 1-hour Whirling Dervish show.
