Amman – Mount Nebo – Dead Sea – Little Petra – Petra

At 7:30 AM, your private driver will collect you from your hotel lobby in Amman to begin your journey through Jordan's most remarkable landscapes. After approximately 45 minutes, you'll arrive at Mount Nebo, an elevated ridge rising 710 meters above sea level and believed to be the burial site of the Prophet Moses. Weather permitting, enjoy panoramic views across the Jordan Valley toward the Promised Land, just as Moses once did. Inside the Moses Memorial Church, admire the beautifully preserved Byzantine mosaics.

Continue downhill to the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. The hyper-saline waters allow you to float effortlessly, while the mineral-rich mud along the shore is renowned for its skin-rejuvenating properties. Enjoy leisure time at the beach with towel service included.

Around midday, set off on a 2.5-hour drive south to Little Petra, where you'll explore Siq Al Barid, a narrow canyon lined with carved temples and tombs that once served as a Nabataean caravan stop. A short transfer brings you to your hotel in Petra for check-in. Overnight in Petra.

Petra Full Day Exploration – Wadi Rum Desert Camp

Today is dedicated to the rose-red city of Petra, the crown jewel of Jordan and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Early risers can enter the site as early as 6:00 AM – simply request a breakfast box from the hotel the evening before. Otherwise, enjoy a full breakfast before meeting your licensed local guide at the visitor center.

Walk through the dramatic Siq, a narrow 1.2-kilometer canyon flanked by towering walls of swirling sandstone in shades of red, pink, and gold. At the end of this natural corridor, you'll be greeted by Petra's most iconic monument: the breathtaking Treasury (Al-Khazneh), carved directly into the rock face. Continue along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle as your guide explains the rich Nabataean heritage of the city.

After approximately two hours, your guide bids farewell at the restaurant area, leaving you free to explore at your own pace. Adventurous travelers can climb the 800 stone-cut steps to the magnificent Monastery (El Deir), rising 45 meters in height. Return to the main gate, then drive 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum. Dinner and overnight at a desert camp under the stars.

This protected UNESCO site has served as the dramatic backdrop for Hollywood productions including Lawrence of Arabia, The Martian, and Dune. Along the way, your driver will point out ancient Nabataean and Thamudic rock inscriptions, climb red sand dunes for sweeping desert views, and stop at scenic viewpoints where the silence and scale of the desert leave a lasting impression.
