Petra Full-Day Tour - Transfer to Wadi Rum

Today you explore the highlight of Jordan, the rose-red city of Petra! Early risers may start as early as 6:00 AM (request a breakfast box from your hotel the evening before). Otherwise, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before meeting your expert local guide at the main gate.

Begin your walk through the Siq, a narrow 1.2-kilometer canyon with towering walls of colorful sandstone that hide ancient water channels and carvings. At the end of this dramatic passage, you will be rewarded with the iconic first glimpse of the Treasury (Al-Khazneh), Petra's most famous monument carved directly into the rose-colored cliff face.

Continue along the Street of Facades to discover the impressive Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. After approximately 2 hours of guided exploration, your guide will bid farewell at the restaurant area, leaving you free to explore at your own pace. The adventurous can climb the 800 steps to reach the magnificent Monastery (El Deir), standing 45 meters high.
