How can I make an online reservation?

You'll receive instant confirmation once your booking is submitted. Alternatively, you can contact our team via email or phone if you'd like to customize any aspect of the trip or have special requests before confirming.
How can we make payment?
The deposit or full-payment requirement, currency, balance due date and any disclosed payment-processing charge vary by booking and are stated on the current booking page and in the written confirmation before payment. Flight and bus tickets are issued only under the confirmed booking terms and, once issued, are non-refundable. If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, notify One Nation Travel at least 5 days before the tour starts. For requests received at least 5 days before the tour starts, the cost of all non-refundable flight and bus tickets will be deducted from your paid balance. For requests received less than 5 days before the tour starts, and for no-shows, the full amount paid is non-refundable.
When will I receive confirmation after making a reservation?
You'll receive an instant email confirmation with your booking summary as soon as your reservation is processed. Your final tour voucher, which includes all hotel details, airport pickup instructions, and your group guide's contact information, will be sent 24–48 hours before your Day 1 arrival in Istanbul.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, notify One Nation Travel at least 5 days before the tour starts. For requests received at least 5 days before the tour starts, the cost of all non-refundable flight and bus tickets will be deducted from your paid balance. For requests received less than 5 days before the tour starts, and for no-shows, the full amount paid is non-refundable.
Is the hot air balloon ride included in the Cappadocia portion of this tour?
The hot air balloon ride is not included in the standard tour package, as it operates independently based on weather conditions and availability. However, your guide can help you arrange this iconic experience as an optional add-on during your stay in Cappadocia — balloon flights typically take place at sunrise on either Day 4 or Day 5. We highly recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season, as spots fill up quickly.
What should I wear when visiting mosques and religious sites in Istanbul?
When visiting the Blue Mosque and other active religious sites, both men and women should dress modestly — shoulders and knees must be covered, and women are required to wear a headscarf. It's a good idea to carry a light scarf in your day bag, though some mosques provide coverings at the entrance. Your group guide will remind everyone of dress codes before each visit so you'll always be prepared.
How long are the travel times between cities on this tour?
The tour is designed to minimize travel fatigue with a smart mix of flights and overland transfers. Your domestic flight from Istanbul to Kayseri (Cappadocia) on Day 3 takes about 1.5 hours, and the intercity bus from Cappadocia to Ankara on Day 5 is approximately 3.5–4 hours through scenic Turkish countryside. The return flight from Ankara to Istanbul on Day 6 is around 1 hour, keeping the journey smooth and efficient.
What is the luggage allowance for the domestic flights on this tour?
Domestic flights within Turkey typically allow one checked bag of up to 15 kg and one carry-on bag of up to 8 kg, though exact allowances may vary by airline. Your final tour voucher will include specific airline and luggage details for the Istanbul-to-Kayseri and Ankara-to-Istanbul flights. We recommend packing a smaller overnight bag for the Cappadocia and Ankara legs to make transfers between cities more convenient.
Do I need a visa to visit Turkey?
Many nationalities can obtain an e-Visa online before traveling to Turkey through the official Turkish e-Visa website, while citizens of some countries can enter visa-free for short stays. We recommend checking your country's specific visa requirements at least a few weeks before your trip, as processing times can vary. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned entry date into Turkey.
What is the best time of year to visit Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Ankara?
The best time for this tour is during spring (April–June) and autumn (September–November), when temperatures are pleasant for sightseeing and crowds are more manageable across all three destinations. Summer (July–August) is warm and vibrant but can be hot in Cappadocia and Ankara, while winter offers fewer tourists and a magical snow-covered landscape in Cappadocia, though some outdoor activities may be limited. This tour operates year-round, so your guide will tailor the experience to make the most of each season.
Will I travel with the same group and guide throughout the tour?
Our multi-day Turkey packages are regular group/shared tour arrangements, not fully escorted tours with one tour leader and the same guests from arrival to departure. Sightseeing tours are shared and usually operate with about 15-20 guests, but group size and participants may change by city or day as travelers join or leave different scheduled tours. Licensed English-speaking guides lead scheduled sightseeing visits only. Guides do not travel with guests on domestic flights, intercity buses, airport transfers, hotel transfers, or free-time periods unless this is specifically stated in the itinerary. For flights, buses, and transfers, guests are met by our driver or local representative at airports, bus terminals, or hotels and assisted with the planned transfer. One Nation Travel coordinates the full itinerary, hotels, domestic tickets, transfers, local guides, and support throughout the trip.
