Private Gallipoli Battlefields Tour

06:30 AM – 07:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in the Taksim area.
07:30 AM – 08:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in the Sultanahmet area or from the Istanbul cruise port. After pick-up, depart for Eceabat in a comfortable, non-smoking, air-conditioned private vehicle.
12:00 PM: Arrive in Eceabat and enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant, offering you a chance to unwind and sample traditional Turkish dishes before the Gallipoli tour begins.

1:00 PM: Begin a fully guided tour of Gallipoli‘s most significant historical sites. The first stop is Brighton Beach, where you will learn about the landing points of the ANZAC forces. Continue to Beach Cemetery, the final resting place of many soldiers, including John Simpson Kirkpatrick, known for his bravery during the campaign. The tour then proceeds to the somber ANZAC Cove, a place of great significance for both Australian and New Zealand visitors. Next, visit Ariburnu Cemetery, where you can pay respects to the fallen soldiers.

The journey continues to the ANZAC Commemorative Site, a memorial dedicated to the courage and sacrifice of the ANZAC soldiers. Then, visit the Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, a tribute to the Turkish soldiers who defended their homeland. From there, explore the Lone Pine Monument, which honors the Australian forces that fought in Gallipoli.

Your tour will then take you to Johnston’s Jolly, where you will see the preserved Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels. The next stop is the 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial, paying homage to the courage and sacrifice of the Turkish regiment. After that, visit The Nek, the site of the tragic bayonet charge memorialized in history. Finally, the tour reaches the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, dedicated to the New Zealand soldiers who displayed remarkable valor during the campaign.

IMPORTANT INFO:

The private tour will include pick up and drop off from and to your hotel in Istanbul. Since it is a private tour you will have the flexibility to stay as long or as little as you want at any given site during the full-day Gallipoli private tour. The transfer from Istanbul to Eceabat and Eceabat to Istanbul will be in a private air-conditioned car with a driver. The professional English-speaking guide will join you upon your arrival in Eceabat and will leave you at the end of the tour in Eceabat. For meals or personal needs, you can request the driver to make a stop on the way to Eceabat and return.
You may choose to stop en route to Istanbul for dinner. However, dinner will be paid by yourselves.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, notify One Nation Travel at least 5 days before the tour starts. For requests received at least 5 days before the tour starts, the cost of all non-refundable flight and bus tickets will be deducted from your paid balance. For requests received less than 5 days before the tour starts, and for no-shows, the full amount paid is non-refundable.
