Overview

Step off your early flight into the soft Aegean morning and trade Istanbul's skyline for the marble-paved heart of the ancient Mediterranean. This 2-Day Private Ephesus and Pamukkale Tour from Istanbul compresses two of Turkey's most extraordinary landscapes into a seamless private journey by air — your own guide, your own vehicle, your own unhurried rhythm. Wander the colonnaded streets of Ephesus, where the towering facade of the Library of Celsus still stops travelers mid-step and the Great Theatre echoes with two thousand years of voices. Pause beneath the elegant Temple of Hadrian, trace the worn grooves of chariot wheels, then savour a long Aegean lunch in a village kitchen. The next morning unfolds inland through silver olive groves to the dazzling white terraces of Pamukkale, where mineral water spills over travertine cliffs like frozen waterfalls. Explore the sprawling ruins of Hierapolis-Pamukkale — its vast Necropolis, Frontinus Street, and the Fountain of the Tritons — before an evening flight whisks you back to Istanbul. Two days, two civilizations, one private adventure tailored entirely to you.

Which airports are used for the domestic flights?

The outbound flight typically departs Istanbul for Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, and the return flight departs from Denizli Çardak Airport back to Istanbul. Exact airports and times may change based on airline schedules.

What kind of hotel is included in Selçuk or Kuşadası?

We use comfortable 4-star hotels in Selçuk or Kuşadası with breakfast included. Specific hotel names are confirmed at the time of booking and depend on availability and season.

Can I swim at Pamukkale or the Cleopatra Pool?

You can dip your feet in the thermal water flowing over the travertines as part of the standard visit. Full swimming is available at the separate Cleopatra Antique Pool, which has an additional entrance fee payable on-site. Bring swimwear and a towel if interested.

Is this a private tour or shared with other travellers?

This is a fully private tour. You will have your own licensed guide during the sightseeing tours, along with a private vehicle and driver for the scheduled tours and transfers. Please note that the guide does not accompany guests during airport transfers or domestic flights. The pace and small adjustments within the itinerary can be tailored to your interests.
