Troy & Gallipoli Day Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul around 5:30 AM for departure to Çanakkale. Upon arrival, you will begin your guided tour of the legendary city of Troy, immortalized in Homer’s Iliad. Here, explore the fascinating archaeological remains, including the iconic Trojan Horse and the ancient city walls that reveal nine layers of civilization spanning thousands of years. Your guide will share the myths of the Trojan War and the history of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

After exploring Troy, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue your journey to the Gallipoli Peninsula, where you will visit the most significant battlefields and memorials of World War I. Stops include ANZAC Cove, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, and Ariburnu Cemetery. You will also see the ANZAC Commemorative Site, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly (trenches and tunnels), the Turkish 57th Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, and the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial.

Important notes:

The private tour will include pick up and drop off from and to your hotel in Istanbul. Since it is a private tour you will have the flexibility to stay as long or as little as you want at any given site during the full-day Troy and Gallipoli private tour. The transfer from Istanbul to Eceabat and Eceabat to Istanbul will be in a private air-conditioned car with a driver. The professional English-speaking guide will join you upon your arrival in Eceabat and will leave you at the end of the tour in Eceabat. For meals or personal needs, you can request the driver to make a stop on the way to Eceabat and return.
OPTIONAL: You may choose to stop en route to Istanbul for dinner at your own expense.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, you must do so at least 5 days before the tour starts. In this case, a cancellation fee of USD 50 per person will be deducted from your paid balance. For cancellations or date changes made less than 5 days before the tour, the full amount paid will be considered non-refundable, as a "no-show" policy will apply.

When will I receive confirmation after making a reservation for a day tour?

Once your online reservation is received and full payment is successfully processed on your credit card, your day tour booking and all related services will be confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email with the full tour details, including pickup information and itinerary, within 1–2 days.
