After breakfast at the hotel, around 8:30 AM meet your private guide and drive to the Giza Plateau, home to the legendary Pyramids of Giza. Begin with the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt and a compelling blend of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic traditions. Continue to Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century defensive fortress standing on the site traditionally associated with the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
