Gallipoli Peninsula

The Gallipoli Peninsula, located in northwestern Turkey, is one of the most significant historical sites of the 20th century. Best known for the Gallipoli Campaign of World War I (1915–1916), it witnessed fierce battles between Allied and Ottoman forces, shaping the national identities of Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand.
