The places that shape your journey
Combining these countries brings together very different experiences: monumental Egyptian temples, a river journey on selected routes, Petra’s rock-cut architecture and Jordan’s desert landscapes. Choose by the itinerary’s actual stops and overnight bases.
Begin with the Pyramids and Sphinx, then explore the Cairo visits named in your package. The 14-day route adds a separate day for Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur. Museum visits differ by program: check the named museum instead of assuming a Grand Egyptian Museum visit is included.
The 8-day route explores Luxor with a hotel stay. The 10- and 14-day routes connect Aswan and Luxor on a three-night cruise, visiting temples along the Nile. The 13-day flight-inclusive programs list four cruise nights. Cruise schedules can change the sequence of sightseeing; check the confirmed itinerary for your dates.
Petra features across the two-country options, but the travel pace varies. The 10-day route visits from Amman; the 8- and 14-day routes include a Petra hotel night, while the 13-day programs list two. Compare driving time and the scheduled guided visit when deciding how much time you want around the ancient city.
A desert jeep excursion and a night under the desert sky are different experiences. The 8- and 13-day programs visit Wadi Rum before continuing to Amman. For a camp night, choose the 14-day Grand Tour or request a tailored proposal. The 10-day route does not visit Wadi Rum.
Choose the 10-day route for a Dead Sea visit or the 14-day itinerary for a hotel night there. The 8- and 13-day programs do not list this stop in their day-by-day schedules. If relaxation time is important, compare arrival and departure times rather than relying on a destination name alone.
The 14-day route includes an Alexandria excursion from Cairo and a visit to Jerash in Jordan. The 13-day programs include northern Jordan sightseeing at Jerash, Ajloun and Umm Qais. These are different routes, so a longer headline duration does not mean every destination is included.

The standard 8-, 10- and 14-day options exclude the regional and home-country flights. The 13-day flight-inclusive options specify their departure gateways. Confirm all connections before buying additional tickets.
Arrival days, departure days and overnight international travel all affect the usable sightseeing time. Match your dates to the confirmed cruise schedule and count hotel nights separately from cruise nights. The itinerary order may be adjusted around cruise availability and domestic flights.
Petra and the archaeological sites involve walking, uneven surfaces and time outdoors. A short itinerary can also contain long road transfers. Tell us about mobility needs, children’s ages and preferred rest time before choosing a route so the proposed arrangements can be checked.

Guiding and transport arrangements depend on the selected package. Do not assume one escort accompanies you throughout both countries. The 13-day packages describe English-speaking guiding in Egypt, drivers in Jordan and a specified guided visit at Petra. Check which sightseeing visits include a guide and which transfers are driver services.
