What to Expect

Your guide meets you at the entrance of Derinkuyu Underground City (or picks you up from your hotel). After bypassing the ticket queue, you’ll descend level by level through narrow tunnels and vast chambers. The tour covers all publicly accessible areas including the ventilation shaft, storage rooms, and the underground church on the lowest level.

Important: The underground passages are narrow in places. Comfortable shoes and light clothing recommended. Not suitable for those with severe claustrophobia.
