Itinerary Overview
Calligraphy inside Bursa’s Grand Mosque closes the 7-Day Istanbul, Bursa, Cappadocia and Pamukkale Tour, seven days and six nights across Istanbul, Cappadocia, Kusadasi, Pamukkale and Bursa. Upon your arrival at Istanbul New Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökcen Airport (SAW) at any time, our team will be waiting for you at the exit of the international arrivals terminal, holding a sign with your name on it. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Istanbul for check-in. After breakfast, around 8:30 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel for a full-day guided tour of Istanbul’s most iconic Byzantine and Ottoman landmarks.
First, visit Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque Grand Mosque, a masterpiece that served as a cathedral, mosque, and now a museum, showcasing centuries of Christian and Islamic heritage.
Next, head to Blue Mosque, celebrated for its stunning blue Iznik tiles and six towering minarets, a hallmark of Ottoman architecture.
Continue with a stop at Hippodrome, once the heart of Byzantine social life. Here, admire the Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpent Column, and German Fountain, each steeped in historical significance.
After these explorations, enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant and savor traditional Turkish cuisine.
In the afternoon, discover Topkapi Palace Museum, the former residence of Ottoman sultans. Walk through its grand courtyards and treasuries, and optionally visit the Harem, the private quarters of the sultan and his family.
Conclude your day at the vibrant Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world. Explore its lively atmosphere and browse through an array of goods, from spices and carpets to jewelry and ceramics.

You will be picked up from your hotel around 04:00 AM and transferred to the airport for your flight to Kayseri or Nevşehir, departing between 06:00 – 07:30 AM. Upon arrival, our local representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Cappadocia, where you’ll meet your professional guide and begin your full-day Northern Cappadocia tour.
The tour covers the lunar-like landscape of Devrent Valley, the iconic fairy chimneys of Pasabag Valley, and a pottery demonstration in the artisan town of Avanos. After lunch, you’ll visit the captivating cave dwellings of the Zelve Open Air Museum and enjoy panoramic views of Goreme.
At the end of the tour around 4:30 PM, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Optional Activities: For additional experiences in Cappadocia, you may choose from the following: a 2-hour ATV tour or a 2-hour horseback riding tour through the region’s scenic valleys. For an optional extra, consider booking an early morning hot air balloon ride to enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Cappadocia’s valleys. Please note that this activity comes at an additional cost.
After breakfast at the hotel around 9:30 am, you will be picked up and met by your tour guide to begin your full-day tour of South Cappadocia. Your tour guide will brief you on the day’s activities.
Your tour will begin with a visit to the Red Valley, where you can explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike approximately 5 km through the scenic Rose Valley. Next, you will visit Cavusin Village, which is famous for its houses and churches of Christian clergymen.
We will take a break for lunch around noon. After lunch, you will drive to the Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon, you will visit either the Kaymakli Underground City or the Ozkonak Underground City, where early Christians lived.
At the end of your full-day tour, you will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your flight to Izmir via Istanbul. Upon your arrival at Izmir airport, a representative will be present holding a sign with your name to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel in Kusadasi, around 7:30 AM, you will be picked up and driven towards Pamukkale. The journey takes approximately 3 hours, with a short refreshment stop along the way. Upon arrival around 11:00 AM, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before beginning your guided tour of Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis.
Your tour begins with the breathtaking Pamukkale Travertines, also known as the “Cotton Cliffs.” These striking white terraces, formed by natural hot springs rich in calcium carbonate, have created cascading pools that resemble frozen waterfalls. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a natural wonder and one of the most photographed places in Turkey.
Next, you will explore the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, a Greco-Roman spa city founded in the 2nd century B.C. Highlights include the grand Theater of Hierapolis, which once seated 12,000 people and still stands remarkably well-preserved, the vast Necropolis with its hundreds of sarcophagi, the Roman Baths, the Domitian Gate, and Frontinus Street, the city’s ancient colonnaded main road.
You will also have free time to experience the famous Antique Pools of Pamukkale (optional, extra charge), also known as Cleopatra’s Pool. Here, you can swim among ancient marble columns that collapsed into the water centuries ago during an earthquake.
At the end of the tour, around 4:00 PM, you will be transferred to Denizli Airport for your late evening flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up around 8:00 am for your excursion to Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. You’ll head to the port to board a ferry across the Sea of Marmara, enjoying the scenic views before arriving in this historic city.
Known as “Green Bursa,” the city is surrounded by lush parks, gardens, and forests. Your tour begins with a scenic cable car ride to Mt. Uludağ, where you will enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch with a panoramic view of the city and surrounding landscapes.
After lunch, visit the impressive Grand Mosque (Ulu Cami), built between 1399 and 1400, and admired for its magnificent calligraphy and exceptional craftsmanship. You will also have the chance to stroll through the city’s charming streets and taste some of Bursa’s famous specialties such as roasted chestnuts and Turkish sweets.
Before the day concludes, explore Bursa’s Silk Market (Koza Han), a historic bazaar where silk trading has taken place since the Ottoman era. After some leisure time for shopping or relaxing, you will return to Istanbul in the evening. Overnight in Istanbul.

Additional Information
With your inquiry, please send your travel dates, number of travelers, preferred room setup, hotel class preference, and whether your dates are flexible by a day or two.
Before domestic flight tickets can be issued, we need each traveler’s full name exactly as printed in the passport, date of birth, passport number, and nationality. The name on the ticket is checked against the passport at the gate.
For pickup arrangements, send your hotel name and address, or your arrival flight number and landing time.
Tour Notes
- The order of the itinerary is indicative and subject to change, but all visits described will take place.
- This is a regular group tour, but if requested at cost can be provided as a private tour.
- The regular group tour has shopping stops included in the tour.
- Vegetarian lunch option available upon request.
- Please note that the Blue Mosque is not open for visitation on Fridays as it is closed for religious prayer services. On tours operated on Fridays, you will only be able to visit the outside of the Blue Mosque area. No visitation inside the Blue Mosque is allowed for tourists on Fridays.
- Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays; it will be replaced with the Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan Sarnıcı).
- Grand Bazaar is closed on Sunday.
- During religious holidays, the Spice Market and Grand Bazaar are closed.

- The remaining 70% balance must be paid in cash to our representative on the day you arrive in Istanbul. You will receive a receipt upon payment. If you prefer to pay the remaining balance by credit card, a 5% bank processing fee will be added to cover transaction costs.
The deposit or full-payment requirement, currency, balance due date and any disclosed payment-processing charge vary by booking and are stated on the current booking page and in the written confirmation before payment. Flight and bus tickets are issued only under the confirmed booking terms and, once issued, are non-refundable. If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, notify One Nation Travel at least 5 days before the tour starts. For requests received at least 5 days before the tour starts, the cost of all non-refundable flight and bus tickets will be deducted from your paid balance. For requests received less than 5 days before the tour starts, and for no-shows, the full amount paid is non-refundable.
Once your online reservation is received and the specified 30% deposit is charged to your credit card, your domestic flight tickets will be confirmed. You will receive an email confirmation, including all the details, within 2-3 days.

Yes, you can swim in the Pamukkale Antique Pools during your free time. This activity is optional and comes at an additional cost. The tour guide will provide you with the exact meeting point and time for rejoining the group afterward.
On domestic flights in Turkey, the luggage allowance is 15 kg (33 lbs) per person for checked baggage. For carry-on luggage, you are allowed one piece weighing up to 8 kg (17.6 lbs) per person. If your total luggage weight per person is within these limits, you should be fine.
Please note that any excess luggage weight over 15 kg for checked baggage will incur additional charges by the airlines. These extra charges are not included in the tour price and are your responsibility to pay directly to the airline at the time of check-in. We recommend packing accordingly to avoid any unexpected fees.

Our multi-day Turkey packages are regular group/shared tour arrangements, not fully escorted tours with one tour leader and the same guests from arrival to departure. Sightseeing tours are shared and usually operate with about 15-20 guests, but group size and participants may change by city or day as travelers join or leave different scheduled tours. Licensed English-speaking guides lead scheduled sightseeing visits only. Guides do not travel with guests on domestic flights, intercity buses, airport transfers, hotel transfers, or free-time periods unless this is specifically stated in the itinerary. For flights, buses, and transfers, guests are met by our driver or local representative at airports, bus terminals, or hotels and assisted with the planned transfer. Antea Hotel Old City was a good base in Istanbul and clean, and we could walk to a few spots after the tour day. The kids thought Dedeli Konak Cave Hotel was the best part of the week, sleeping in a cave room. Pamukkale was hot but the terraces were easy enough for them to manage.
