Use current visiting hours, not an expired summer extension
As checked on October 9, 2026, the Ministry records list both Troy Ancient City and the Museum of Troy open daily at 08:30–17:30, with admission desks closing at 17:00. Leave enough time to complete each visit before closing. The separate 2026 tourism-season notice extended closing to 20:00 only for May 1–October 1, 2026; that period has ended. It does not establish evening access now or a 2027 timetable. Recheck the official records and any special notice for your exact date.
Separate the archaeological site, museum and ticket coverage
The ancient city is the outdoor archaeological site at Hisarlık, near Tevfikiye; the Museum of Troy is a separate modern venue nearby. The layered ruins and the museum’s displays serve different parts of the visit. The current DOSİM tariff groups the museum and ancient city as visitable with one ticket. Confirm the current ticket or pass coverage and eligibility before purchase. A combined admission ticket does not add a missing stop to a tour itinerary, or establish guided museum time.
