Descend into beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs adorned with vivid hieroglyphs and scenes from the afterlife (entry to three tombs included).
Continue to the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, a striking three-tiered structure carved into towering limestone cliffs and dedicated to Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh. On the way back, stop for photographs at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that once guarded a vanished mortuary temple.
Return to the ship around 1:00 PM for lunch on board as the vessel sets sail south along the Nile toward Edfu. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the sun deck, watching timeless scenes of palm groves, fishing boats, and rural villages drift by. Afternoon tea is served on board, followed by dinner and an evening of onboard entertainment. Overnight in Nile Cruise.

Painstakingly relocated stone by stone to Agilkia Island, this temple complex features beautifully preserved hieroglyphics, towering pylons, and graceful colonnades that reflect the artistry of the late Ptolemaic period.
