FAQs:
The main trail from the Visitor Center through the Siq to the Treasury and back covers approximately 6 km on mostly flat, sandy ground. Exploring further sites such as the Monastery adds steep stair climbs. A moderate fitness level is recommended, and donkey or camel rides are available at additional cost for those who need assistance.
Hot air balloon rides over Wadi Rum can be arranged at additional cost, subject to availability and weather conditions. Please request this at the time of booking so we can coordinate the timing with your itinerary.
Floating in the Dead Sea is safe when basic precautions are followed. Avoid putting your face in the water, limit your time in the water to about 15-20 minutes per session, and rinse off with fresh water immediately afterward. Your resort will have showers available at the beach.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) offer the most comfortable temperatures for sightseeing. Summer months can be extremely hot in Petra and Wadi Rum, while winter brings cooler temperatures and occasional rain, though the Dead Sea area remains relatively mild.
Absolutely. As a private tour, the schedule is flexible and can be tailored to your preferences. Whether you’d like to add extra time in Petra, include a visit to Jerash or Mount Nebo, or adjust departure times, we can accommodate your requests.
Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival or through the Jordan Pass purchased online before travel. The Jordan Pass includes your visa fee and entry to over 40 attractions including Petra. We recommend checking the latest visa requirements for your nationality before departure.
Lightweight, breathable clothing is recommended for desert and outdoor sightseeing. Bring layers for cooler mornings and evenings, especially in Wadi Rum. There is no strict dress code at the main tourist sites, though modest clothing is appreciated when visiting local communities.
