2-Day Mount Nemrut & Gobeklitepe Tour from Cappadocia (Ends in Istanbul)

You spend one night in Adiyaman after the Mount Nemrut sunset visit on Day 1. On Day 2, the tour ends with an evening flight from Sanliurfa to Istanbul and an airport transfer to your central Istanbul hotel.

Day 1 is a long road journey from Cappadocia, followed by sightseeing and an uphill walk to the Mount Nemrut summit terraces. Day 2 begins around 9:00 AM and includes several visits in Gobeklitepe and Sanliurfa before the evening flight to Istanbul. You should be comfortable walking on uneven ground and handling a full sightseeing schedule.

Spring and fall are generally the most comfortable periods for the road travel and outdoor visits. Mount Nemrut can be cold and windy around sunset even when the day begins warm, while summer daytime sightseeing in Sanliurfa can be very hot. Winter conditions may affect mountain access and the sunset visit.

We pick you up from your Cappadocia hotel at approximately 8:00 AM on Day 1. The exact time depends on your hotel location, so you should provide your hotel details before departure. The day begins with the road journey toward Adiyaman.

Your one-way domestic flight from Sanliurfa to Istanbul on Day 2 is included. The flight includes 15 kg of checked baggage and 8 kg of cabin baggage. Flight times and the Istanbul arrival airport depend on the confirmed schedule.

Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip for the uphill route at Mount Nemrut and uneven archaeological-site surfaces. Bring a warm layer for the summit sunset, even in warmer months. Sun protection and water are useful for daytime visits in Gobeklitepe and Sanliurfa.

You can join the scheduled shared sightseeing arrangements as a solo traveler. Mobile coverage and data service can vary on road sections and at Mount Nemrut, so do not rely on continuous connectivity during the journey. Your hotel in Adiyaman and your central Istanbul hotel are the most practical places to reconnect between travel segments.
