Continue to the remarkable Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the largest Roman burial sites ever discovered, with underground chambers blending Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic styles. Next, visit the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a stunning architectural tribute to the ancient Library of Alexandria, which was once the greatest center of learning in the classical world.
No visit to Alexandria is complete without a seafood lunch — enjoy freshly caught Mediterranean specialties at a well-known local restaurant overlooking the sea. In the late afternoon, depart for the return drive to Cairo, arriving at your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Cairo.

By Hailey R.(Tucson, USA)June 19, 2026 Great Cairo and Alexandria week with kidsCairo to Alexandria worked out really well for our family. The pyramids were the big hit with the kids, but the drive to Alexandria was fun too. Our guide Ibrahim was patient and kept things at a kid-friendly pace, never rushing us. Muhammad was a careful driver and we always felt safe. We stayed at the Pyramisa Suites Hotel which was clean and easy with kids. Long days at times but everyone had a blast.Date of Experience: June 11, 2026 -

By Zofia Y.(Wroclaw, Poland)May 19, 2026 Great tour with One Nation TravelWe booked the 5 day Egypt tour with One Nation Travel for our family, from grandparents to kids, and it worked very well. The pace was not too rushed, which helped a lot with different ages. Transfers were on time and the guide was patient with stairs, walking breaks, and questions. Cairo was busy but fun, and Alexandria was a nice change of pace. We felt well looked after the whole time.Date of Experience: May 19, 2026
