Itinerary Overview:
What does the 4-Day Cappadocia, Ephesus & Pamukkale Tour cover?
This 4-day, 3-night tour begins with an early pickup from a European-side Istanbul hotel and a flight to Cappadocia. It includes guided North and South Cappadocia sightseeing, with stops such as Devrent Valley, Zelve Open-Air Museum, Rose Valley and an underground city. You then fly to Izmir via Istanbul for Ephesus from Kusadasi, travel by road to Pamukkale and Hierapolis, and fly from Denizli Airport to Istanbul. The tour ends at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
Why choose this tour?
This itinerary suits travelers looking to combine Cappadocia’s landscapes with major western Turkey archaeological sites in a short, active trip. Two guided days in Cappadocia allow time for both the region’s rock formations and the approximately 5 km Rose Valley walk, rather than limiting the visit to one day. Two nights in Kusadasi provide one hotel base for the Ephesus and Pamukkale visits, while domestic flights reduce the long-distance travel between regions.
What is included, and what costs extra?
Included are domestic flights from Istanbul to Cappadocia, from Cappadocia to Izmir via Istanbul, and from Denizli to Istanbul; 3 hotel nights in the listed or similar hotels; three breakfasts and four lunches; guided sightseeing; entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary; local taxes and service charges; and airport-hotel transfers during the trip. Pickup from an Istanbul hotel to the departure airport is included only from the European side.
Transfer from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to your Istanbul hotel after the return flight is not included. Drinks with meals, travel insurance, unspecified services and optional tours cost extra. The Cappadocia hot-air-balloon ride is optional and extra, subject to suitable weather and official flight approval. Swimming in the Pamukkale Antique Pools is also optional and at your own expense.
