You will spend your first night in a hotel in Kuşadası and your next two nights in a cave hotel in Cappadocia. You do not stay overnight in Pamukkale; after sightseeing, you continue to Kuşadası by road. On Day 4, your tour ends when you arrive at the airport in Istanbul.

Q: How long are your sightseeing and travel days?

You should allow approximately 12 hours each for Days 1 and 2, seven hours for Day 3, and 11 hours for Day 4, including scheduled sightseeing and transport. Your Cappadocia sightseeing starts at approximately 9:30 AM on Days 3 and 4. The Day 3 estimate excludes the optional sunrise balloon flight, and your final timing depends on flight schedules and local conditions.

Q: How does your first-day pickup work?

You will be picked up from your Istanbul hotel early in the morning and transferred to the airport for your flight to Denizli. We confirm your hotel pickup time according to the final flight schedule. On arrival at Denizli Airport, you meet your guide and driver before continuing to Pamukkale.

Q: Which domestic flights are included, and where does your tour end?

You have three included domestic flights: Istanbul to Denizli, İzmir to Cappadocia, and Cappadocia to Istanbul. For Cappadocia, you use Kayseri Airport or Nevşehir Airport, with the scheduled hotel connections included. Your flight details are confirmed after booking, and your tour ends at the airport in Istanbul, rather than with a hotel transfer.

Q: How much luggage can you bring on your domestic flights?

You can generally bring 15 kg of checked baggage and 8 kg of cabin baggage per person on the included domestic flights. You should check the allowance on your confirmed tickets before packing, since the applicable airline allowance governs each flight. Excess baggage is not included.

You will walk through the Pamukkale and Hierapolis sites, along the marble streets of Ephesus, and during the scheduled Cappadocia visits. Your daily duration estimates include transport and sightseeing, not continuous walking; no walking distances are specified. If you have mobility limitations, discuss them with us before booking so you can assess the scheduled visits against your needs.

You should bring comfortable walking shoes for Ephesus and the Cappadocia site visits, plus layers you can adjust during long sightseeing and travel days. If you choose the optional sunrise balloon flight, plan your clothing for an earlier outdoor start than your scheduled sightseeing.

You begin in Istanbul with a flight to Denizli, then explore Pamukkale’s white terraces and Hierapolis before spending the night in Kuşadası. After walking through Ephesus, you fly from İzmir to Cappadocia for two nights in a cave hotel. You spend the remaining days exploring the region’s rock formations and rock-cut sites with your guide. Expect full sightseeing days, with travel between regions and an evening at leisure in Kuşadası. You finish with a flight back to Istanbul, where your tour ends at the airport.

Day 1 :

Flight to Denizli – Pamukkale Tour and Transfer to Kuşadası

Early in the morning, you will be transferred from your Istanbul hotel to the airport for your flight to Denizli. Your hotel pickup time will be confirmed according to the final flight schedule, which depends on airline schedules and seat availability.

On arrival at Denizli Airport, you will meet your guide and driver and continue to Pamukkale. You will visit the white Pamukkale Travertine Terraces, commonly known as the Cotton Castle, before exploring Hierapolis. Here, you will see the ancient theater, necropolis, and thermal areas of this Greco-Roman settlement.

You may choose to swim in the thermal waters of Cleopatra’s Pool. This visit is optional, and its entrance fee is not included.

After sightseeing, you will travel by vehicle to Kuşadası, a journey of approximately two hours. You will check in to your hotel and have the evening at leisure.

Day 2 :

Ephesus Tour – Flight to Cappadocia

After breakfast and hotel checkout, you will meet your guide and travel to Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will walk along its marble streets and visit the Library of Celsus, Great Theatre, and Temple of Hadrian.

You will continue to the House of the Virgin Mary, a Christian pilgrimage site traditionally believed to have been her final residence. You will also visit the remains of the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

After the tour, you will transfer to İzmir Airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Your flight is generally scheduled for the late afternoon or evening, depending on airline schedules, operating days, and seat availability.

On arrival at Kayseri Airport or Nevşehir Airport, you will meet your driver and transfer to your cave hotel.

North Cappadocia Tour and Optional Sunrise Balloon Ride

Before breakfast, you may take an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia’s valleys and fairy chimneys, the region’s distinctive rock formations. You will share the balloon basket with other passengers. The flight is not included, is arranged separately and paid locally, and requires suitable weather, official approval, and availability. Advance booking is strongly recommended. If you take the ride, you will return to your hotel for breakfast afterward.

At approximately 9:30 AM, you will meet your guide for your North Cappadocia tour. You will visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with rock-cut Byzantine churches and frescoes.

You will continue to Paşabağ (Monks Valley) to see mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys, then explore the naturally shaped rock formations of Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley).

In Avanos, beside the Kızılırmak River, you will explore a town known for pottery making. You may also visit a traditional pottery workshop to see craftspeople demonstrate their techniques. After the tour, you will return to your hotel.

Allow approximately 7 hours for scheduled sightseeing and road travel, depending on confirmed transport arrangements and local conditions. This estimate excludes the optional balloon activity.

South Cappadocia Tour – Flight to Istanbul

After breakfast and hotel checkout, you will meet your guide at approximately 9:30 AM for your South Cappadocia tour.

You will start at Göreme Panorama for views across the valleys, then continue to Kaymaklı Underground City to explore its multilevel underground settlement.

At Pigeon Valley, you will see pigeon houses carved into the cliffs. You will then visit Ortahisar, known for its natural rock castle and village setting. Depending on local conditions and timing, you may also make additional stops for views or cultural visits.

After sightseeing, you will transfer to Kayseri Airport or Nevşehir Airport for your evening flight to Istanbul. Your flight time depends on airline schedules and seat availability. Your tour ends on arrival at the airport in Istanbul.

Allow approximately 11 hours for scheduled sightseeing, transfers, and the flight, depending on confirmed transport schedules.

We offer hotel pick-up services for airport transfers on the European side of Istanbul in the districts of Taksim, Şişli, Sultanahmet, Eminönü, Fatih, Beşiktaş, Karaköy, and Bakırköy. Our pickup time will be confirmed according to your scheduled flight. If your location is on the Anatolian side or outside these districts, please arrange your own transport to the airport.
The normal arrival time in Istanbul is between 8:00 – 10:00 pm. If you are planning on reserving your plane back home that same day, we recommend you book a plane ticket from 1:00 am onwards, to avoid missing your flight.
