The final day is the longest travel day. You leave Kusadasi in the morning, travel via Selcuk to Pamukkale, tour Pamukkale and Hierapolis, then continue to Denizli or Izmir Airport for an evening flight to Istanbul.

We arrange pickup from your Istanbul hotel and transfer you to the main bus station for the intercity bus to Canakkale. On arrival in Canakkale, you are met at the bus station and transferred to your hotel.

The tour ends when you arrive at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport on the evening of the fourth day. The airport transfer to your Istanbul hotel after the flight is not part of the itinerary, so plan that final connection separately.

Day 1 :

Istanbul – Intercity Bus to Canakkale

You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to the city’s main bus station. From there, you will travel by local intercity bus toward Canakkale. This is a travel-focused day, so keep essentials such as water, snacks, and any items you may want during the journey with you rather than packed away in your luggage.

On arrival at the Canakkale Bus Station, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to settle in after the road journey. You may prefer a simple walk near the waterfront, a relaxed meal, or an early night before the archaeological visits begin the following morning.

Your accommodation tonight is in a 3-star hotel, with breakfast served the next morning. Dinner is not included, so you can choose where and when to eat based on your arrival time. Overnight in Canakkale.

Day 2 :

Troy and Pergamum Tour – Transfer to Kusadasi

After breakfast, around 8:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. Start at Troy, the archaeological site associated with the Trojan War tradition and recognized by UNESCO. You will see the replica Trojan Horse, which you can climb for a photo, then continue through the excavated remains, including sections of the Troy VI fortification walls, tower, and gateway.

Lunch is arranged during the day before the drive south to Pergamum. Here, your visit centers on the hilltop Acropolis, where the setting helps explain why this was an important Greek and Roman city. Your guide will point out the location connected with the Altar of Zeus and place the remains in context before the onward journey.

After the tour, continue by road to Kusadasi. Expect a long day with substantial driving between sites, so this is a good time to rest once you arrive. Your accommodation tonight is in a 4-star hotel, with the evening free for dinner on your own. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 3 :

Ephesus Ancient City Tour

After breakfast, around 8:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. Begin in Ephesus, walking its excavated streets with your guide to understand how the city developed under Greek and Roman rule. Stops include the Temple of Hadrian, the Great Theater, and the Trajan Fountain, where surviving stonework gives a clear sense of the city’s former public spaces.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the House of the Virgin Mary in the hills above Ephesus. The next stop is the site of the Temple of Artemis. Only limited remains are visible today, but your guide will explain its former importance. You will also visit Isa Bey Mosque, a Seljuk-era mosque with a notably different style from the ancient sites visited earlier.

Return to Kusadasi in the afternoon, with the rest of the evening at leisure. Wear shoes with a secure grip for Ephesus, as the ancient paving can be uneven and polished in places. Your accommodation tonight is in a 4-star hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 4 :

Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour – Flight to Istanbul

After breakfast, around 7:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. Travel from Kusadasi to Selçuk to join the onward route to Pamukkale. The road journey takes several hours and includes a comfort stop. On arrival, lunch at a local restaurant comes before the guided afternoon visit, so you have time to reset before walking around the site.

Visit the white mineral terraces of Pamukkale, then continue through Hierapolis, the ancient settlement built above the springs. Your guide will cover the main remains, including the Hierapolis Theatre. You will also have free time, during which you may choose to swim at the Cleopatra Antique Pools. Swimming there is optional and arranged separately.

After the tour, transfer to Denizli Airport or Izmir Airport for your evening flight to Istanbul. Tour services end when you arrive at the airport in Istanbul. Transportation from Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport to your hotel is not included, so plan your onward transfer separately.
