Important Information:
- Domestic flights within Turkey (Istanbul to Kayseri and Denizli to Istanbul) typically allow 15-20 kg checked luggage per person. Excess luggage fees are charged at the airport. We strongly recommend using soft-sided bags for easier handling during group transfers.
- Mosques in Istanbul, including the Blue Mosque, are closed to visitors during prayer times, especially Friday prayers (approximately 12:00-14:00). Your guide will plan the group’s itinerary around these closures, but slight schedule adjustments may occur.
- A modest dress code is required when visiting mosques: women must cover their head, shoulders, and knees, and men must cover their knees. Headscarves are typically available at mosque entrances, but bringing your own is recommended.
- Hot air balloon rides in Cappadocia are not included in this tour but can be pre-booked as an optional activity. Flights are weather-dependent and may be canceled by the Civil Aviation Authority — we recommend booking for your earliest available morning to allow for rescheduling.
- Comfortable walking shoes with good grip are essential throughout this tour. Sites such as Ephesus, Zelve Open Air Museum, Hierapolis, and Istanbul’s Old City involve extensive walking on uneven terrain, cobblestones, and steep paths.
- Day 4 involves an evening flight to Izmir via Istanbul, which may result in a late hotel arrival. Please plan accordingly and keep essentials in your carry-on luggage for comfort during the transfer.
- The Pamukkale travertine terraces require you to walk barefoot on the white calcium pools. The surface can be slippery when wet and hot under direct sun in summer — waterproof phone cases and a small towel are recommended.
- Room assignments are based on twin or double sharing. Triple rooms are available at select hotels but may be limited in size and availability. A single supplement applies for solo travelers who prefer a private room.
- Turkey uses Type C and F electrical outlets (European standard, 220V/50Hz). Travelers from the US, UK, and other non-European countries should bring a suitable power adapter.
- We recommend arriving in Istanbul at least a few hours before the evening welcome dinner on Day 1. If your flight arrives late, please inform us in advance so we can arrange your airport transfer accordingly.
- Turkey requires a valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity from your date of entry. Depending on your nationality, an e-Visa may be required and should be obtained online at evisa.gov.tr before departure.
- The Bosphorus cruise on Day 7 operates rain or shine, but open-deck seating can be windy and cool even in summer. Bring a light jacket or windbreaker to enjoy the views comfortably from the upper deck.

Verified PurchaseBy Lucía N.(Spain)March 18, 2026 Turkey Stole My Heart in 8 DaysHas anyone ever cried at a sunrise? Because I literally did at Cappadocia watching the balloons float over those fairy chimneys. No shame lol.Ok so this trip was EVERYTHING. I came from Madrid expecting the usual tourist stuff but honestly Turkey blew my mind. Pamukkale looked unreal — like walking on clouds basically. I kept telling myself it couldn't be as pretty as the photos but it's even better in person?? Make it make sense. Our guide Murat was such a gem. Super knowledgeable but also funny, which matters when you're spending 8 days together. He took us to this tiny restaurant in Ephesus area where I had the best lamb kebab of my entire life. I'm still dreaming about it weeks later. He also explained the history of the ancient ruins in a way that didn't feel like a boring lecture, which I appreciated because history was never my thing haha. The group was small which I loved — felt more personal. Istanbul at the end was the perfect grand finale, especially the Grand Bazaar. I spent way too much money on ceramics but zero regrets.Would totally recommend One Nation Travel if you want something well organized without feeling rushed. Already planning my next trip with them honestly.Date of Experience: March 09, 2026
