FAQs:
You can book this 12-Day Discover Turkey Guided Tour directly through the tour page on our website by selecting your preferred travel date and the number of travelers. You’ll receive instant confirmation once your booking is submitted. If you have custom requests or need assistance, feel free to contact our team via email or phone — we’re happy to help tailor your experience.
We accept all major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard through our secure payment gateway. Bank transfer is also available for those who prefer it. For advance bookings, a deposit option is offered so you can secure your spot on this popular group tour while completing full payment closer to your departure date.
Once your online reservation is received and the specified 30% deposit is charged to your credit card, your domestic flight tickets will be confirmed. You will receive an email confirmation, including all the details, within 2-3 days.
If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, please notify us at least 5 days before the tour starts. In this case, the cost of all flight and bus tickets—which are non-refundable—will be deducted from your paid balance, and the remaining amount will be refunded to you. For cancellations or date changes made less than 5 days before the tour, the full amount paid will be considered non-refundable, as a “no-show” policy will apply.
This tour covers a lot of ground, so drive times vary by segment. The intercity bus transfer from Pamukkale to Antalya on Day 5 is approximately 3.5–4 hours, while sightseeing day trips such as the Perge, Aspendos, and Side excursion from Antalya involve shorter drives of about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours between sites. Domestic flights are included for the longer distances — Istanbul to Izmir and Antalya to Cappadocia via Istanbul — so you won’t spend excessive time on the road.
The hot air balloon ride is not included in the tour price, as it is an optional activity that depends on weather conditions and personal preference. However, with three full days in Cappadocia (Days 9–11), you’ll have the opportunity to book an early morning balloon flight before your guided sightseeing begins. Your guide can help arrange this for you, and we recommend booking in advance as slots fill up quickly, especially during peak season.
When visiting mosques such as the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, both men and women should dress modestly — shoulders and knees must be covered, and women are required to wear a headscarf. Shoes are removed before entering. It’s a good idea to carry a light scarf and wear easily removable shoes throughout the tour, as you’ll also be visiting ancient sites like Ephesus and Hierapolis where comfortable walking shoes are essential.
The tour includes 11 nights of accommodation in carefully selected 4‑star, boutique, cave, or equivalent hotels across Istanbul, Izmir/Kuşadası, Antalya, and Cappadocia. Daily breakfast is provided at each hotel, and you will also enjoy four lunches at local restaurants. In Cappadocia, accommodations typically feature charming cave‑style hotels that beautifully reflect the region’s unique character.
Domestic flights within Turkey typically allow 15 kg of checked luggage and 8 kg of cabin baggage, though exact limits depend on the airline. Since this tour includes flights from Istanbul to Izmir and from Antalya to Istanbul (connecting to Cappadocia), we recommend packing in a single medium-sized suitcase to keep things manageable. Your guide will provide specific luggage details before each flight segment.
Turkey is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and is generally very safe for travelers. The cities and regions on this tour — Istanbul, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Antalya, and Cappadocia — are well-established tourism hubs with excellent infrastructure and a welcoming local culture. As with any international trip, standard precautions like safeguarding valuables apply, and traveling in a guided group adds an extra layer of comfort and security.
The best months for this 12-day tour are April through June and September through November, when temperatures are pleasant for sightseeing and crowds are more manageable at major sites like Ephesus and Cappadocia. Summer months (July–August) are warmer, especially in Antalya and Pamukkale, but still very popular. Spring is particularly spectacular in Cappadocia, with green valleys and ideal conditions for optional hot air balloon flights.
