2-Day Troy and Gallipoli Tour from Izmir (Ends in Istanbul)

Pickup is available from your hotel in Kusadasi, Selcuk, or Izmir. We will confirm your pickup time based on your hotel location and the scheduled intercity bus departure from Izmir Bus Terminal.

You spend one night in a 3-star hotel in Çanakkale. On the second evening, you travel by bus to Istanbul and are dropped at your designated hotel, but accommodation in Istanbul is not included.

The first day is mainly for your transfer by scheduled intercity bus from Izmir to Çanakkale, followed by a free evening. The second day starts with hotel pickup at approximately 8:30 AM, includes Troy and Gallipoli sightseeing, and continues by evening bus to Istanbul, with arrival expected at approximately 11:00 PM.

Expect walking at the Troy archaeological site and at several Gallipoli cemeteries, memorials, and battlefield stops. The day includes repeated short visits rather than one continuous walk, but comfortable walking shoes are recommended for uneven outdoor ground.

Spring and fall are often more comfortable for long outdoor sightseeing days, while summer can be hot and winter conditions can be cooler and wet. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring layers, as conditions can change between Troy, the Gallipoli Peninsula, and the evening bus journey.

Yes, you can join as a solo traveler. The scheduled sightseeing visits are shared, and your pickup and transfers follow the same route from your hotel in Kusadasi, Selcuk, or Izmir through to your hotel drop-off in Istanbul.

You have free time in Çanakkale on the first evening and again after Gallipoli sightseeing before the evening bus to Istanbul. Wi-Fi and mobile coverage are not specified for the buses or sightseeing areas, so arrange your own mobile data if you need reliable access during the route.
