This 7-day guided tour visits Kusadasi (2 nights), Antalya (2 nights) and Cappadocia (2 nights). Prices start from $1,249 per person, based on two travelers sharing. Operated by One Nation Travel, a TÜRSAB-licensed (No. A-6073) local tour operator founded in Istanbul in 2008.
Overview
Four stops, domestic flight connections, and seven days: the 7-day Ephesus, Pamukkale, Antalya and Cappadocia tour from Izmir covers 2 nights in Kuşadası, 2 in Antalya, and 2 in Cappadocia, with road travel between the western and southern stops and flights routed via Istanbul.
You begin near Ephesus, continue to the white travertine terraces of Pamukkale, then travel along the Mediterranean coast for Antalya’s Roman-era sites before ending among Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys and rock-cut settlements. This Ephesus to Cappadocia itinerary keeps the major travel legs between touring days where possible.
As a licensed local operator based in Istanbul, we coordinate your transfers, listed flights, hotel stays, and guided touring across the route.
This pace suits you if you want to cover several regions in one week and are comfortable with early starts, coach travel, and changing hotels; it is less suitable if you prefer long stays in each place.
Highlights
- Trace Ephesus's marble streets to the Ancient Greek Theatre and the carved façade of Hadrian's Temple.
- Visit the House of the Virgin Mary above Ephesus, a longstanding Christian pilgrimage destination.
- Follow Pamukkale's white travertine terraces into Hierapolis, with its Roman baths and theatre.
- Examine Aspendos Ancient Theater, a Roman structure known for its exceptionally intact stage building.
- Stroll Side's waterfront past the Temple of Apollo, where its columns face the Mediterranean.
- Photograph Cappadocia's fairy chimneys at Paşabağ and view the rock fortress of Uçhisar Castle.
- Consider an optional hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia, arranged separately and paid locally, subject to weather and approval.
Route: Kusadasi (2 nights) → Antalya (2 nights) → Cappadocia (2 nights) → Istanbul · Day trips: Ephesus, Pamukkale, Side
Day-by-Day Itinerary
You begin with a flexible arrival in Izmir or Kuşadası, followed by a full day around Ephesus. The route then moves inland to Pamukkale, where guided sightseeing is followed by an intercity coach journey to Antalya. Expect this middle stretch to be the most travel-heavy part of the itinerary: sightseeing days start in the morning, include a lunch break, and leave some late afternoon or evening time back at your hotel.
From Antalya, you fly onward to Cappadocia via Istanbul and have time to settle in before two consecutive guided days in the region. These final days combine viewpoints, walking, rock-cut settlements, and time in the main towns, with evenings left open. An optional hot air balloon flight can be arranged separately for an early morning in Cappadocia, subject to suitable weather and official approval. The trip finishes after your final Cappadocia tour with a flight back to Istanbul.
Arrive at Izmir Airport, Izmir city center, or Kuşadası Port, where a representative will meet you for your transfer to your hotel in Kuşadası. The transfer is arranged around your arrival point, so you can settle in without working out local transport after your journey.
After check-in, the rest of the day is free. Kuşadası is an easy place to keep the first afternoon simple: walk along the waterfront, stop for a meal, or spend time at the hotel before the early starts ahead. If you head out, keep your plans flexible and leave time to rest.
Your hotel is your base for the next two nights, with the Ephesus visit scheduled for the following morning. Use this first evening to organize what you need for a full day outdoors, including comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and a light layer for later in the day. Overnight in Kuşadası.

After breakfast, around 8:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. Travel to Selçuk to meet your guide and begin at Ephesus, the Roman city laid out along a long marble route. The visit moves through its public streets, baths, shops, and civic buildings, so allow for uneven paving and open sun.
At the Temple of Hadrian, look closely at the carved facade before continuing toward the Great Theatre, where the scale is easier to understand from the seating tiers. You will also see the Trajan Fountain within the archaeological area. Lunch is served at a local restaurant during the day, giving you a break before the afternoon visits.
Continue to the House of the Virgin Mary on Mount Koressos, then see the remains associated with the Temple of Artemis and visit İsa Bey Mosque. These stops show how Greek, Roman, early Christian, and Seljuk periods overlap around Selçuk. Return to Kuşadası in the afternoon, with the evening at leisure. Overnight in Kuşadası.

After breakfast, around 7:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. Join the tour departure in Selçuk and travel inland toward Pamukkale. The road journey includes a comfort stop before arrival, so keep water and any essentials with you rather than packing them into checked luggage for the later coach transfer.
Lunch is served before your guided visit to the white mineral terraces known as the Cotton Cliffs. Continue into Hierapolis, the ancient spa city built above the thermal springs. Your guide introduces the main ruins, including the Hierapolis Theatre and the former Roman Baths, then gives you time to walk independently at the agreed meeting point and time.
You may choose to enter the Antique Pool during free time, arranged separately and paid locally. Later, transfer to Denizli Bus Terminal for the intercity coach to Antalya. A representative meets you at the terminal on arrival and takes you to your hotel. The day involves a long transfer, so plan for a later hotel arrival. Overnight in Antalya.

After breakfast, around 8:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. Begin east of Antalya at Perge Ancient City, where the route follows a colonnaded street, monumental gates, the stadium, and the remains of the Roman baths. It is a broad site with limited shade, so bring water and a hat.
Continue to Aspendos Ancient Theatre, a Roman theater known for its intact stage building and steep seating. Your guide explains how the structure functioned before you continue for lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon changes pace at Manavgat Waterfall, a short stop beside the wide flow of the Manavgat River.
The final visit is Side, an old harbor settlement where ruins sit among the modern town. Walk toward the seafront to see the Temple of Apollo, then pass the Side Ancient Theatre. There is time for photographs and a short walk before the return drive to Antalya. This is a full day with several separate stops, so comfortable shoes make a real difference. Overnight in Antalya.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Antalya and transfer to Antalya Airport. Your route to Cappadocia is arranged via Istanbul, with the arrival airport determined by the flight plan. Keep your travel documents and items needed during the connection with you.
You will arrive at either Kayseri Airport or Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport, where a local representative will meet you for the onward transfer to your hotel. The drive into the Cappadocia area takes time, and road conditions and flight timings can affect when you reach the hotel, so it is best not to make fixed plans for the evening.
Once checked in, the remainder of the day is free. Use it to rest after the travel day, take a short walk near the hotel if time allows, or prepare for the following morning’s tour. If you are considering a hot air balloon flight, it is optional, arranged separately, and paid locally. It depends on suitable weather and official approval. Overnight in Cappadocia.

After breakfast, around 9:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. An optional hot air balloon flight may be arranged separately before the tour and paid locally, subject to suitable weather and official approval. The guided route begins in Cappadocia at Devrent Valley, where wind and rain have shaped the soft volcanic rock into forms that invite comparison.
Continue to Paşabağ Valley for its tall, multi-capped fairy chimneys, then travel to Avanos, a town associated with pottery made using clay from the Kızılırmak River. Watch a pottery demonstration before lunch at a local restaurant. The visit is practical as well as visual, showing how a long-running craft is still worked by hand.
After lunch, stop at a viewpoint over Göreme, then explore Zelve Open Air Museum, a former rock-cut settlement with dwellings, churches, and a mosque. The final stop is Uçhisar Castle, seen from outside, before returning to the hotel in the afternoon. Expect rocky paths and steps at several stops. Overnight in Cappadocia.
After breakfast, around 9:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel. Begin the South Cappadocia route at Red Valley, then continue on foot through part of Rose Valley. The walking route passes rock-cut churches and changing bands of tuff, the soft volcanic stone that shapes much of the region. Wear shoes with grip and carry water.
Continue to Çavuşin Village, where old rock-cut homes and churches sit below the ridge. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before the afternoon stop at Pigeon Valley, named for the pigeon houses cut into its rock faces. Your guide will set the pace according to the day’s route and available time before the airport transfer.
After the tour, transfer to either Kayseri Airport or Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Flight timing determines the order and duration of the final transfer, so keep your belongings ready for departure in the morning. On arrival at Istanbul Airport, your tour services conclude.

FAQs
Stays & Arrivals
You spend two nights in Kuşadası, two nights in Antalya, and two nights in Cappadocia. Your final day ends with a flight back to Istanbul, so an Istanbul overnight is not part of this itinerary.
We can arrange your first transfer from Izmir Airport, Izmir city center, or Kuşadası Port. After you arrive, you will be taken to your hotel in Kuşadası, with the rest of the first day left open.
The route includes a flight from Antalya to the Cappadocia region via Istanbul and a final flight back to Istanbul. Airport transfers are arranged around the planned flights, while baggage allowance depends on the airline and ticket issued for your travel dates. Keep medicines, valuables, and anything you need that day in your carry-on bag.
Pace & Preparation
Most sightseeing days begin after breakfast, but the Ephesus day has a very early airport transfer and the Pamukkale day includes a long road journey before the visit. Expect uneven stone paths, steps, open archaeological areas, and a 5 km hike in Rose Valley on the final day. You should be comfortable walking at a steady pace and standing during guided visits.
Bring comfortable closed-toe walking shoes with good grip for travertine surfaces, rocky paths, and ancient streets. Pack layers because Antalya can feel much warmer than Cappadocia, especially in the morning and evening. A sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a light rain layer are useful across the route.
Spring and fall are usually the most comfortable choices for a route that combines the Aegean coast, Antalya, and the higher elevations of Cappadocia. Summer can be hot in Antalya and Pamukkale, while Cappadocia can be cold in winter, particularly early in the day. September and October are especially practical if you want milder weather in Cappadocia. Group & Practicalities
Our multi-day Turkey packages are regular group/shared tour arrangements, not fully escorted tours with one tour leader and the same guests from arrival to departure. Sightseeing tours are shared and usually operate with about 15-20 guests, but group size and participants may change by city or day as travelers join or leave different scheduled tours. Licensed English-speaking guides lead scheduled sightseeing visits only. Guides do not travel with guests on domestic flights, intercity buses, airport transfers, hotel transfers, or free-time periods unless this is specifically stated in the itinerary. For flights, buses, and transfers, guests are met by our driver or local representative at airports, bus terminals, or hotels and assisted with the planned transfer. One Nation Travel coordinates the full itinerary, hotels, domestic tickets, transfers, local guides, and support throughout the trip.
Yes, you can join the scheduled sightseeing and transfer arrangements as a solo traveler. Hotel Wi-Fi and mobile coverage can vary by property and by rural areas on the route, so do not rely on a connection during every transfer or outdoor visit. An eSIM or local SIM can make it easier to stay in touch between hotel stops.

By Arjun N.(Pune, India)August 20, 2026 Pamukkale, Antalya and Cappadocia in one tripThis was a good first introduction to Turkey for our family. The route covered very different places without us having to sort out transfers, which helped with two kids. Some pickups were early, but everything felt well managed. Murat in Cappadocia kept the day fun, and Ephesus and Pamukkale were highlights for us.Date of Experience: August 14, 2026
