3-Day Gallipoli, Troy, Pergamon and Ephesus Tour from Istanbul (Ends in Kusadasi or Izmir)

Your day begins early with pickup from your hotel. If you are staying near the Taksim area, pickup is around 06:00 – 06:15. If you are in the Sultanahmet area, pickup is between 06:30 – 07:00. You will then depart for Eceabat in a comfortable, non-smoking, air-conditioned minibus.

Around 11:20, you will arrive in Eceabat for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, at 12:30, you will join a fully guided tour of Gallipoli. The tour includes significant historical sites such as Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ari Burnu Cemetery, and the ANZAC Commemorative Site. You will also visit the Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Monument, Johnston’s Jolly, where you can explore Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels, the Turkish 57th Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, and the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial.

After the tour ends around 16:30, you will be transferred to your hotel in Çanakkale for check-in. Overnight in Çanakkale.

Your day begins at 08:00 with pickup from your hotel for a fully guided tour of Troy. You will explore sites including the Trojan Horse, the Sacrificial Altars, and the 3,700-year-old city walls. You will also visit the Houses of Troy I, dating from 3000 B.C. – 2500 B.C., the Bouleuterium, or Senate Building, and the Odeon, or concert hall. Learn about the ongoing excavations and see the remains of the nine cities that existed from Troy I through Troy IX.

After the Troy tour ends around 10:30, you will depart for Pergamon. On arrival, around 13:30, enjoy lunch before starting a fully guided tour of the Pergamon Acropolis. You will explore the ancient city of Pergamon, once a major power in the ancient world and a center of learning and the arts. Highlights include the Acropolis, the Library, which once held 200,000 books, the Temple of Athena, and the Temple of Trajan. You will also see the Altar of Zeus, now housed in the Berlin Museum, the Gymnasium built on terraces, the Lower Agora, and the Hellenistic Theater, with seating for 10,000. The tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Dionysus.

The tour ends around 17:30, after which you will depart for Kuşadası. You will arrive at your hotel around 20:30. Overnight in Kuşadası.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Around 8:30 am, you will be picked up for a fully guided tour of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary.

You will first explore the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, where you can walk through its temples, streets, and ruins. Next, visit the Temple of Artemis, once counted among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to the Library of Celsus, known for its architecture and its role as a mausoleum. You will then visit the Ephesus Ancient Greek Theatre, which provides a view of ancient Roman entertainment and culture. The tour also includes the House of the Virgin Mary, a pilgrimage site for many Christians that is believed to be where Mary spent her final years.

The tour concludes around 4:00 pm. Afterward, you will be transferred to Kuşadası city center or dropped off at Izmir Airport around 5:00 pm, marking the end of the tour and services.
