Yes, since this tour visits two countries, you will need a Turkish e-Visa (easily obtained online for most nationalities) and an Egyptian visa, which most travelers can purchase on arrival at Cairo airport for around USD 25 or apply for in advance via the official Egypt e-Visa portal. Our team will send you detailed visa guidance after booking based on your nationality.
The famous sunrise hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys is not included, as it is weather-dependent and operates as an optional activity. We highly recommend this unforgettable experience! Since flights sell out very quickly during peak season, we strongly suggest adding it as an ‘Extra Add-on’ during your online reservation process to secure your spot at our preferential rates.
This tour includes five flights (Istanbul-Kayseri, Denizli-Istanbul, Istanbul-Cairo, Cairo-Luxor, and Aswan-Cairo). The standard allowance is typically 15 kg of checked baggage and 7–8 kg of cabin baggage on Turkish and Egyptian domestic carriers, while the international Istanbul-Cairo flight usually allows 20–23 kg. We recommend packing light, as you’ll change hotels frequently and board a Nile cruise mid-tour.
When visiting Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Egyptian religious sites, both men and women should wear clothing that covers the shoulders and knees. Women are required to cover their hair with a scarf inside mosques (scarves are often available at the entrance), and shoes must be removed before entering — slip-on footwear is highly recommended for convenience.
Your 3-night Nile cruise features full-board dining (breakfast, lunch, and dinner served onboard), an outer cabin with a Nile view, and all guided shore excursions including Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Valley of the Kings, and Karnak Temple. A traditional felucca sailboat ride in Aswan is also included. Drinks, spa services, and onboard entertainment such as Galabeya night are available for purchase.
The ideal months are April–May and September–November, when temperatures across Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Egypt are pleasantly warm and comfortable for sightseeing. Egyptian summers (June–August) can exceed 40°C in Luxor and Aswan, while winters (December–February) offer cooler, crowd-free Egypt experiences but chillier weather in Turkey — both seasons remain popular with our travelers.
Yes, both Turkey and Egypt are very safe and welcoming for tourists, and millions visit each year without incident. On this guided group tour you’ll be accompanied by professional English-speaking local guides, use private air-conditioned transport, and stay in vetted 4- and 5-star hotels — and our 24/7 support line is always available throughout your journey for complete peace of mind.
To provide you with the best possible experience and value, our combined Turkey and Egypt tours feature a mix of both styles:
• In Turkey: Your daily sightseeing excursions are conducted as small group tours (regular tours). This is a fantastic way to explore popular sites alongside a small number of fellow travelers while keeping the tour affordable and fun.
• In Egypt: Your experience is completely private. All your sightseeing tours in Egypt are operated specifically for you, featuring your own dedicated professional tour guide and a private air-conditioned vehicle, ensuring a highly personalized and flexible pace.
Our multi-day Turkey packages are regular group/shared tour arrangements, not fully escorted tours with one tour leader and the same guests from arrival to departure. Sightseeing tours are shared and usually operate with about 15-20 guests, but group size and participants may change by city or day as travelers join or leave different scheduled tours. Licensed English-speaking guides lead scheduled sightseeing visits only. Guides do not travel with guests on domestic flights, intercity buses, airport transfers, hotel transfers, or free-time periods unless this is specifically stated in the itinerary. For flights, buses, and transfers, guests are met by our driver or local representative at airports, bus terminals, or hotels and assisted with the planned transfer. One Nation Travel coordinates the full itinerary, hotels, domestic tickets, transfers, local guides, and support throughout the trip.
