20-Day Egypt, Jordan and Turkey Tour: Cairo to Istanbul Adventure

Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met in the arrivals hall by a One Nation Travel representative, holding a sign with your name for easy recognition. From there, you will be accompanied to your hotel in Cairo, where assistance will be provided with the check-in process to ensure everything runs smoothly.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel around 8:00 am for a full-day guided tour of Cairo’s most iconic landmarks.

Your first stop will be the Giza Plateau, where you will see the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the Pyramid of Menkaure—the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World. You will also visit the legendary Great Sphinx of Giza, a mythical guardian with the body of a lion and the head of a man.

Following this, enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant before continuing into Coptic Cairo, where you will visit the Hanging Church and the Coptic Museum. Later, explore Islamic Cairo with visits to the Sultan Hassan Mosque and the Al-Azhar Mosque, both outstanding examples of Islamic architecture.

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin a private half-day tour of Luxor’s legendary West Bank.

Your exploration starts at the Valley of the Kings, where you will enter three impressive royal tombs, richly decorated with colorful wall paintings and hieroglyphics depicting scenes from the afterlife. Here, you will also have the opportunity to visit the famous tomb of Tutankhamun (optional, with extra cost).

Continue to the imposing Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues standing 55 feet tall that once marked the entrance to a grand funerary temple. This morning, disembark from your cruise and set out to explore the magnificent Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt and one of the most important religious centers of the ancient world. This morning, after breakfast on board, your cruise will dock at the historic town of Edfu. Here, a traditional horse-drawn carriage will take you to the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dating back to 237–57 BC. After breakfast, at around 8:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel to begin a full-day exploration of Istanbul’s most iconic Byzantine and Ottoman landmarks.

Your first stop is the magnificent Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture that has served as a cathedral, a mosque, and now a mosque-museum, reflecting centuries of spiritual and cultural heritage.

Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and driven to Pamukkale, where you will join your guide to begin a full-day tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The tour begins at Karahayit, famous for its Red Spring waters, known for their distinctive color and healing thermal properties.
